A Secret to Know

Chapter 1

"Marry you?" i asked. I was shocked that Steph wanted to marry me. "Yeah. I mean you need to get married to become queen and I love you. So why shouldn't we get married?" he said. "I guess your right." i said. "So...will you marry me?" he asked. I smiled. "Yes." I said. We hugged and kissed each other. "Come on." I said "Let's go tell everyone the good news." I said excitedly. We headed down and told them. Everyone was so happy because I was gonna become queen and marry Steph. The party continued and everyone was so happy. I was looking around when I noticed that Jess wasn't there. I knew exactly where she would be...in the kitchen. Even though Jess was really thin she ate like a horse. I swam into the kitchen and there she was on the floor in the corner. She was eating cream puffs out of a pink box. I sat down next to her. "You now you're never gonna get a date with cream puff filling on your face." I said. She smiled at me. "Why aren't you out celebrating?" I asked. "I don't want you getting married." she said. "oh I understand....don't worry I won't love you any less than I do now." I wrapped her in my arms. Suddenly we heard someone clear their throat. We looked up and saw mom. She was holding a large present wrapped in dark purple paper and tied with a black bow. She handed it to me. "just delivered." she said. I pulled out a card and it read this "Congratulations! A little gift from your Auntie." I sighed "Maden." I said. I opened the gift. I screamed and dropped it. "What is it?" asked Jess. Inside was my mother's wedding dress...stained in blood.
