Chapter 9

 "Oh how precious...a land wedding." said Maden. Steph drew his sword and aimed it at her. "Oh don't worry." she smiled at me. "I'm here for one thing and one thing only." she said. "Take one more step and you die." said Steph. "Oh I have no need to worry, my little angel will protect me." she said. We were all puzzled. "Ara!" she called. Out of the house came a girl who looked to be about Jess' age, 16. She had smooth black hair that went to her knees and she was dressed in dark purple. "This is my daughter...Ara." said Maden. Whoa, that was just creepy. Maden had a daughter? This day just kept getting weirder and weirder. Maden turned and started running towards me. I had no clue what she was gonna do. Was she going to strangle me or push me into the water with her. But before she even reached me, Steph shoved his sword into her stomach. She fell onto her back. "Mother!" cried Ara. She knelt down beside her and cried over her. "Ara, oh sweet Ara. Carry out my will and take the crown." said Maden. Those were her final words. Ara stood up. "You killed my mother." she said. She turned to me and Steph. My dad stood up and drew his sword. Ara began walking towards us. Steph put his hand in front of me to protect me. She stopped in front of us. Out of her pocket she pulled out a dagger and shoved into Steph's stomach and yanked it back out. "Steph!" I screamed. the guards came and arrested Ara. A merman (who was a doctor) ran up. "Get me some bandages!" he ordered. Aunt Mia ran inside to get them. The doctor had some certain medicine for that kind of stuff in his pocket. In a few moments Steph was bandaged and feeling better. I helped him up to his feet. "Ready to get married?" he asked. "You bet." I said. We smiled and then we kissed.

 It was a month after the wedding and I was Queen and Steph was my king. We were all gathered at the table for dinner. "Uhh...guys." I said. I cleared my throat and everyone looked at me. "I have an announcement to make...I'm pregnant."
