After witnessing the fall of Atlanta, Miller and Michael made their ways into the mountains and set up a small camp by their Humvee.
"So what now, we just... Camp up here or we keep moving forward?"
Michael asked.
Miller was quiet for a while.
"I don't know."
There was a rustle in the nearby bushes. They both grabbed a gun and some it at the area. A group of 3 people came out. It was 2 boys and a girl. They didn't look dangerous because all they had on them was a small backpack. One boy was tall with dark brown hair. He seems about 6'0 with a red hoodie and blue eyes. The other boy has black hair and seems to be 5'10.He had a black hoodie with black eyes. As for the girl she had long dark brown hair and seems to be about 5,8. She had blue eyes and a white jacket.
"Woah! Woah! Don't shoot us bro!" The one with the red hoodie said. "We're just passing through."
Miller lowered his gun but Michael kept his pointed at them.
"Stand down Michael."
Slowly he lowered his gun.
"Come sit with us."
Michael gave miller a look.
"Relax man I just want to talk to them."
The three gave each other a look and walked towards miller and sat down.
"So what'a your name?" Miller questioned them.
"Uh.. Um.. My name is Jason (18) and this is my sister Taylor."(16)
"Hi." She said.
"Oh and this is Brian.(17)
"Oh we got us a China man. Ching Chong Chang." Michael said while cracking up.
"Oh how original dumbass." Brian said.
"Hey! You better watch..."
"That's enough Michael!" Miller said cutting him off.
"Um I didn't catch your name." Jason said.
"Miller. Private Jack Miller."
"Ok Miller I don't want to rush into things but I was hoping that we could combine our group ya know, so that we have a better shot at survival. My group can pull their own weight. We can scavenge supplies from towns and I know really good places to for that."
Miller thought over it for a while.
"Lets see what you have for protection right now. Don't worry I won't kill you."
The three opened up their backpacks and each pull out a 9mm.
"Do any of you know how to use it?"
"I don't." Taylor said.
"Ok, and how are you with food?"
"We have a decent amount. Enough for a week I think."
"Alright we'll take you in as long as you keep your end of the bargain. Deal?"
"Deal." Miller and Jason shook hands and the group began unpacking.
