"What am I gonna tell the general or how will I tell him. He sent out a squad to do a simple job and."
Just then he got interrupted by the radio.
"This is general Conwell if any soldier is out there and still alive please report back to Atlanta we need all the able body we can get to defend the C.D.C. I repeat please come to Atlanta to protect the C.D.C."
And with that Miller started speeding down the road back to Atlanta. Finally after arriving in Atlanta Miller reported back to Conwell.
"There you are Mill.. What the hell happened to your squad?"
"Uh well you see there was"
"Never mind that right now I need you inside that building protecting Jenner and the other scientists right..."
Suddenly a bunch of gunshots rang off. When they turned around a bunch of scientists have already chose suicide.
"Damn it!" The general yelled.
"Sir I'm still awaiting for orders."
"My orders remain the same protect Jenner and whatever scientist that are left.'
And with a salute Miller headed inside. Two soldiers escorted Miller to an elevator that led to and underground system where a bunch of scientists are working trying to come up with a solution. The head scientist Dr. Candace Jenner was dissecting a walker that was restrained to the table.
"From the looks of this none of the organs are functioning. How is it possible for something to live like this?" She questioned herself.
Suddenly the walker managed to break loose and take a chunk of flesh out of Jenner. Bang quickly Miller put a bullet in its head. And seeing that there is no more hope the other scientists killed themselves as well, all except for Edwin Jenner.
"Doctor we need to get you out of here it's not safe anymore everyone already killed themselves and your wife got bitten. Who knows how long she's got until she turns into one of those thing."
"Just leave i'll continue this research by myself so just go!" He yelled
Seeing no other way to persuade him to leave, Miller left. But the surface looked even worst now. Walkers are everywhere. The outbreak is out of control and the general is already dead. Miller scavenged a few more ammo for the MP5 he had, the 9mm pistol. And now he had to escape Atlanta.
