"Why should I allow that?"

Charles Lee, one of the men I have been searching for had me pinned against the wall of a building. Being too close for comfort actually, I could smell the scent of sour beer on his clothes but also that odd scent of gun powder. "Well aren't you all curious as to why I'm looking for you? Or at least for him" I said, raising one eyebrow at him. "You are more as a secondary target at best" I commented. Charles pressed me harder against the wall, but my pistol dug further into his skin.

"What are you to speak to him about?" He pressed on, his eyes burning into mine. "That is for him to find out...tell me did he know I was searching for him?" I inquired, wondering if Charles had simply been at the pub we were just at and followed me, or if he was warned ahead of time. "Master Kenway had been told that someone - a woman from London - had caught wind of what was happening here. And was coming here to the Colonies. He sent me to see about it"

"Hmmm that paranoid?" I purred, pulling away the pistol from his throat and pushed him back a bit. He stepped back just a tad, glaring at me with those cool eyes. "I am just a little lady after all. How does he know of I am a threat? Maybe I am just curious and want to take a peek. Maybe I'm just some lady who happened to come her-" I poke, placing the pistol back onto my hip, but Charles stopped me from finishing. "Master Kenway is a busy man and didn't want anyone to interrupt his work" he said, turning away from me sharply.

"But I only wish to observe Charles" I said, heading to a more casual approach. I needed to see Haytham Kenway as soon as can be. If I was to determine if what he was doing was for the good of the people or a threat.

Additionally, after the accident at the theater hall that took place before Kenways leave, I needed to know something. Something that made this mission a bit more personal to me then to the good of my own orders. Let's just say if it cut down to it between choosing a side to aid in a war, between Assassin's and Templars, I would be with Assassin's. In a heart beat. And the reason behind it, well you need not know.

"Do not act so innocent! Your intentions are more then that!" He said, turning back to me. "How would you know, I've only been here for a but a short while. Less then a fortnight even. I had done nothing before seeking out my comrades" I stated watching how he shifted his weight. I cocked an eyebrow upwards, crossing my arms over my chest. "Or....have you been watching me since my arrival?" I said, smiling when he avoided my gaze. "Why Charles, I barely know you and yet you seem to have a liking to me?" I teased making him scuff and scowl. "I do not take likings to woman who do not know their place" he said.

"Oh I know my place" I said, "But do you know yours? I mean come on, what place do you have in all of this? Being Kenways little chore boy?" I looked to his face, seeing the frown deepen. It was sad really, Charles was a handsome man. A frown on him just didn't seem to fit him. "You will not meet with Kenway, in fact you'll leave Boston. Head somewhere else to continue your search" he said, clearly not enjoying my comment about the chores boy. "But I must be here"

"Well it looks like you are not wanted here"

"It doesn't matter if I am or not, I must be here and I must speak with Haytham" I said, making my tone firmer to make it known to this thick headed man that I had to be here. Charles sighed, seeming to grow frustrated. "Well I will not allow you, not at the moment" he said and began to walk away like I was done speaking to him. The nerve! "Well when then?!" I said, catching up to him, yanking on his arm. "When we know of your intentions" he stated. "That's ridiculous, I just need to speak to hi-"

"And what after?! What after you speak with him, what are you to do?" He snapped turning around suddenly, making me back up a step. I pressed my lips together, staring him right in the eyes. "That is non of your concern" I said softly. I sighed, being the first to break eye contact with him. I felt the frustration set in slowly, my face twisting to a scowl. He on the other hand smirked before straightening his back looking down at me. "If you wish to have an audience with Haytham Kenway you must earn his - and mine - approval" he said. "We'll send you...jobs to complete and if you meet our expectations you will see him. I will be with you during these jobs to make sure it is done right" he stated.
