Chapter 9

Maisie's p.o.v.

                  I woke up to an empty bed. I started to panic. I looked at my phone and I realized that it was Monday. I quickly got out of the bed and hopped into the shower. I got out as fast as I could and rushed over to my closet. I put on a long sleeve half shirt and some high-waisted jeans. I walk out of my room and walk into the living room. I don't see anybody at first but the TV is on. I turn to the kitchen and I see Hagan and Jackson getting them some cereal. I walk in and fix me some too. I stand on my tip toes and kiss Hagan on the cheek.

"Good Morning Maisie." Hagan said while smiling.

"Good Morning" I reply smiling back.

                  Me and Hagan hurry and eat our cereal then rush off to school. We finally get to school and go to our lockers. While we are walking to the lockers we passed a poster about prom. I was so excited to actually  have a date for prom this year. Well I guess that me and Hagan are going, he hasn't actually asked me yet. He better hurry the hell up because it's this Saturday. I really want to go but I guess it's up to him. We get to our lockers and put our bags in and grab the stuff for our first class and walk in the door. I walk back to where Pippa is. We greet each other  then we sit down, and Hagan sits in front of me. Then Grace walked in and came over to us.

                   She rolled her eyes at me and Pippa but smiled at Hagan and started to twirl her hair around her finger.

"Hey cutie!" said Grace while blowing a bubble with her gum.

"Um hey Grace."

"So who are you going to prom with?" asked Grace

"Um my girlfriend, who else?" he said while winking at me.

"Ugh whatever but you're missing out on taking me to prom." She said while storming off.

"So we're going to prom together?" I asked biting my lip.

"Of course baby" Hagan said.

                               The teacher walked in and started teaching. School seemed to last forever but finally it was over. Hagan and I walked home together like always. When we got home there was no one home except for Winnie. She was laying on the couch in a sports bra and gym shorts.

"Oh hey guys I just got done working out."

                                Hagan and I just walked past her and then went straight to our room. I put my bag beside the door and jumped onto the bed. Hagan smiled and layed beside me.

"I need food" I said laughing .

"Me too let's go get some."

                                    Hagan and I walked into the kitchen holding hands. I go to the pantry and grab some macaroni and cheese. I grab a pot and put water on it then placed it on the stove. I started to boil the water to put the noodles in. I smile at Hagan and he pulls me in to a hug, and then he kisses me. Soon the macaroni is done and then we eat it. We walk to our bedroom and lay on our bed. He drapes his arms around my waist and we soon fall asleep.

*A Few Days Later*

                                 Prom is today!!! I could not sleep at all, I was up all night thinking about today. It's already one in the afternoon. Hagan has gone to pick up his tux. The prom starts at 4. I'm so nervous but I don't know why I just feel like something bad is gonna happen. My dress is beautiful, it's teal, strapless, and it was a lot of rhinestones. Oh god the time is just flying by, it's already 2:30. I sit down at my vanity table and start doing my make-up. I don't do heavy make-up, I don't like wearing make-up. It's now 3. I start to straighten my hair. It doesn't look good. I then start to curl it. I finally end up just putting it up into a ponytail. It looks the best. I finally put my dress on. I go look at myself in the mirror. I actually look pretty for once. I walk out into the living room where everyone is sitting. Hagan's jaw drops and so does Jackson's.

Hagan's p.o.v.

                                 Maisie looks perfect. I'm glad that she's mine. I stand up and hug her and kiss her.

"I love you Maisie"

"I love you too"

Maisie's p.o.v.

                                 We leave out of our house and there's a limo waiting for us outside. We quickly get in and shut the door. Finally we get to the prom. I'm so nervous. Hagan gets out and grabs my hand and helps me out of the limo. We walk in the prom doors holding hands. The music is so loud but the decorations are so pretty. Me and Hagan go out onto the dance floor. A slow song comes on. He puts his hands on m hips and I put mine on his strong shoulders. We look into each others eyes. I can't stop smiling. This is one time where I'm actually really happy. The song stops.

"Hey I gotta go use the bathroom I'll be back though" said Hagan kissing my cheek as he walks away.

                               I see Pippa and I run over to her and hug her.

"Oh my gosh Pippa you look so great."

"No you look way better than me!"

"Guess who I came with?" said Pippa while smiling.

"Who?" I ask eagerly.

"Tanner!"

"Oh my gosh I'm so happy for you!"

                                         All of sudden Pippa's jaw drops. She stops talking and is looking behind me. Pippa freezes. I get confused.

"Pippa what's wrong?"

                                 She doesn't answer.

"What is wrong?!?!" I ask shaking her.

                                       She points behind me. I turn around and I finally see what she was looking at. I wish I hadn't turned around. I felt like I was gonna throw up. My throat started to clog and I couldn't breathe. My eyes filled with tears. I had just seen Grace and Hagan making out.
