Long story, short; it was just a scratch that looked worse than it was. We went out into the hall to join the others who were looking at the lockers, "What's inside?" Spencer asked as we rounded the corner.
"There is a box in each, just card board. But they are too heavy to lift." Hanna said as she demonstrated by pulling on the box that was small enough to side out easily, if it weren't for gravity I suppose.
"Have you tried opening one yet?" Mona shook her head.
"They are tapped shut really well, and none of us have anything sharp enough to cut through it." She pushed her fake blonde hair out of her face.
Spencer walked into the rubble and dust from the blast and reemerged with a dusty price of glass in her hand. She walked up to the locker with her combination on it and stabbed it into the box's side. The part without duct tape and ripped it open. A key fell out.
She continued slicing the rest open. There were keys in all of them, "What do you think they open?" Emily said as she turned her key over to examine.
"I'm trying mine." I stood up and went to the closest door. It didn't fit.
"Maybe through here?" Mona was standing near the big hole in the wall from the explosion. There was a small hallway, maybe a yard long, and then a door at the end. A large door. She tried the key, jiggled it around, and popped the door open.
"Oh my GOD!!" The door lead to outside, but there was a gate around a small section of it that kept us in. There were four doors on the fence that required keys to open.
"Let's try them?" Hanna suggested. We all nodded and went outside. The sun was setting in the distance. A sun I hadn't seen for days, maybe a week or two. The Doll House made you lose track of time.
We all went up to a door and tried the lock. None of them fit, so we a shuffled to the one next to it. Hanna's fit, but the rest didn't, she pushed the door open and put one foot cautiously out of the door. She walked out and held the door open, "Well, come on!" We all ran to the door smiling but right as we got there it slammed shut.
"Hanna!" We all panicked and tried reaching out to her but the metal cage shocked out fingers.
"Keep trying the doors." Hanna said with a tear in her eye.
We nodded and tried the rest. We all found the right door and were about to escape when Mona spoke up, "What about me? I don't have a door." She looked scared for her life, until she ran out Emily's door. The door shut before Emily could get out.
"What the HELL?? Now I can't get out!" Emily was about to cry.
"Don't worry, we'll get you out." Slender promised, she was already out the door though.
"I'm sorry, Em." I walked out the door and watched it shut. She let her jaw fall open and screamed. She ran frantically to each door trying to open it, none of them worked. Then she quit screaming and gave the 'Ali smirk'."You really think I'm the weakest link, don't you?" She walked back into the hole in the wall, when she came out again she had a tablet in her hand. She pressed a few buttons and all the doors popped back open.
"Are you... A?" Spencer asked.
"Do I really need to answer that?" She smirked a little more.
Sorry!! This is such a short chapter, sorry again.
