"Vanessa!" I said, in surprise, shock and happiness. She outstretched her hand and I pulled myself up, then turned to help up Lily. She looked at my hand, looked at me, and pulled herself up on me.
"Hey, cutie." Vanessa said in a chirpy voice. She had on a Ramones T-Shirt, a denim jacket, tight leather jeans and blue high tops. She had a blue Metallica hat on and the red lipstick.
She looked stunning.
Lily swallowed and said, "Uh, hi."
"Oh shit, you peeps haven't met yet." I said, mentally slapping myself. "Lily, is is Vanessa. Vanessa, this is Lily." I said. Vanessa stuck out her hand and Lily shook it awkwardly.
"I was wondering when you were gonna properly introduce me." Vanessa said. I smirked and suck my tongue out out her. "Now you are." Lily looked slightly uncomfortable.
"What's wrong, Lily?" I asked. She shrugged and looked at Vanessa.
"You guys wanna skate? There's this kickass taco place near here."
"You go on, we'll meet you there." I said, smiling at Vanessa and Lily. Lily looked up at me and Vanessa looked between Lily and I, shrugged, and skated away.
Seconds of awkward silence settled between us.
"Are you guys, uh.." Lily said, looking at her shoes.
"NO! I just met her. When I left school today, in the park, we talked. That's all. Jesus, no." I said, staring at her in horror. Lily bit her lip then starting laughing. "What's so funny?" I asked, pouting. "Just the way you answered. You sounded horrified, like it never even crossed your mind." "Well, it hasn't, I have my eyes on someone else."
"Oh really?" Lily said, her eyebrow raised. "Yeah." I smirked. "Who?" "That's for me to know and for you to find it, missy."
Lily groaned and pouted, putting her hands on her hips. "Do I at least know her?"
"Uh, yeah." I said, grabbing my board. "I will find her!" Lily said, a determined look in her eye. I laughed and shook my head.
If only she knew.

By some odd miracle, we got to the taco place without breaking any bones or killing any pedestrians. We put the boards outside and walked in.
It smelled like heaven, if it's real and if it had a scent. I spotted Vanessa's blue hat and denim jacket and Lily and I walked up to her, sitting in the booth across from her.
"Sup bitch?" I said, laughing. Vanessa rose an eyebrow and Lily held back a laugh.
"Nothing much, ordered my taco, asswipe." She said, grinning. I gasped and put my hand to my chest in mock hurt. We all burst out laughing and the people in the taco restaurant turned to look at us.
"C'mon, Lily. Let's go order some tacos." I said. "Yup, go get those tacos girl!" Vanessa smirked. I face-palmed and Lily looked confused.
"What?" She asked. "Never mind." I groaned. Vanessa is SO immature.
After ordering our tacos, we went back to Vanessa.
"Bitches finally back!" Vanessa said. Lily laughed and I smiled, shaking my head.
"I like your outfit." Lily told Vanessa. "Why thank you, sweetie. When Alice and I met, she said you were gorgeous, and I wasn't sure if I believed her, but you really are!!"
I groaned and felt myself blush, and Lily stared at me. "What else did she say about me?"
"Vanessa...." I warned, glaring at her. She just smiled and said, "She said that you had magnificent eyes and luscious hair and were overall drop dead gorgeous. She said she likes you, too." By that time, I was out of my seat, frustrated, pissed off and blushing out of control.
"Alice, come back!" Lily said. Vanessa was snickering. The bitch.
Lily grabbed at my wrist band and I yelled and pulled away. It slid off my hand and my worst nightmare came true.
Lily gapped at my wrist.
I quickly put my hand over my scars and snatched the band back, tears streaming down my face. "Just.. Just leave me alone..." I said, storming out the store. Lily followed me, but I grabbed my board and kicked off fast, and she couldn't keep up. I heard her yell after me but all I cared about was the music and blood pounding my ears, the burning sensation where her hand had brushed my scars, and the wind carrying my salty tears into the waiting and thirsty oblivion.

I rolled in front of my house, my stomach grumbling and my eyes red. I kicked my skateboard to a stand and went inside, locking the door behind me.
Zeppelin's lazy ass was sprawled out on the couch, watching old Sponge Bob reruns.
I talked past him and into my room. "Hey, Alice!" Zep said, jumping off the couch and running to me. "Don't touch me, Zep. I'm a fucking monster, don't." I whispered.
"What? No you're not, what happened?" He asked, a look of confusion overshadowing his face. "Nothing." I groaned, going into my room and slamming the door.
Zep stood outside the door for a couple of minutes, then walked away. I face-palmed on the bed and peeled my wrist bands off, looking at my ugly scars. I hadn't cut in nearly a month, but I felt the hate rising, and the skin seemed so willing, so tempting.
So I did the inevitable. I took my towel, my scrunchies and my razor blades and went to the shower.
I turned the water on as hot as my shivering body could take it. I put my hair up in a tight bun and I sat in the tub.
My hands were shaking in anticipation, fear, and hurt. I rose the blade to my skin and found a vein. The razor pushed into the skin and I screamed silently as the blood rose up. Fuck this.
I threw the blade down, watching it scratch the tubs surface, and I jumped out the shower, attending to my wound.
Fuck me! How stupid could I get? I made a promise to stop this shit, and now there's a fresh cut on my fucking vein! I groaned and stepped back into the shower, and actually took a bath this time. I threw the razor out in my waste basket in my room, then changed into a T-Shirt, a long sleeve Batman hoodie and a pair of red boxers. I flopped down on my bed and fell asleep.

"Wake the fuck up! Wake the fuck up! Wake the fuck up! Wake the fuck up!" My alarm clock blared.
I groaned and hit the this off, then went into the bathroom, washed my face, brushed my teeth and combed my hair. I put on a plain black T-shirt and a jean jacket over it. Then I put on some black jeans, my Nirvana converse, and my hair in a messy style down my back. I grabbed two wristbands for my left hand that said, "One love, one heart, let's get together and feel all right" and "Rather be gay then a dick." Then for my right hand I got two that said, "Bitch, make me a sandwich" and "I Pooped Today!" I made my bag and put my iPod on.
My Mom wasn't in the kitchen and I didn't hear Zep. I poked my head in his room and he wasn't in there, so I guessed he was in the bathroom. I made a BLT for both Zep and I, yelled that it was on the table, and went to school, resenting the day.
