Prologue

Yes I am aware that this is the 4th fanfic I have written but me and my best friend watched 'the boat that rocked' today and it inspired me to write another one^-^

Prologue

I never knew my dad. My mum never told us who he was. Mostly because she never wanted him to get involved with us, since he left and didn't deserve us. But as my twin brother and I grew up, our friends would always ask about our dad and talk about fathers day but we could never respond or join in their conversations. So our mum finally decided to tell us when we turned 16 and I knew at that moment I wanted to find him. I mean sure, he may have left for no reason, but it would be nice to know at least who he was and for him to know who I actually was.

But near end of Year 11, I applied for an apprenticeship to BBC Radio 1 and got accepted and could start once I finished school. So My family moved to London where I went to my dream college as well. Soon enough I fell in love with one of my fellow Radio DJs, Dan, and he fell in love with me. We eventually got together and life was all sunshine and flowers.

Until...

The search for my dad started. When I found him, he came to BBC studios to meet me. But he saw Dan and a shocking truth was revealed which may had left me mentally scarred.

And a simple DNA test proved it right.

I guess I should have seen it coming. We had the same surnames, but I we both honestly thought it was just a coincidence and didn't mean anything. Turns out we were mistaken.
