I watched as Michelle went into her expensive town home that her and her mother shared together. Damn they lived the life. Michelle's mother was more like her friend than her mother. She acted like a 34 year old teenager. I envied her life sometimes. Not her living situation or her wealth, but her attitude. She did what she wanted, when she wanted and didn't care what anybody thought of her. She wasn't interested in being in a relationship and she did what she wanted, hooked up with whoever she wanted. Not that I really wanted to have random hookups or anything, I just admired her.
I pulled into my driveway about 10 minutes later. I seen that Cole's car was already parked in my driveway. I sighed. I mean I really did love Cole with all of my heart, but sometimes I did wish that he would just give me a little bit of space. I walked into my front door and was picked up and spun around. I laughed.
"Cole put me down!" I yelled.
"I missed you all day!" He said to me.
I smiled.
"I missed you too." I said.
He gave me a kiss.
"Who let you in here?" I asked him, wondering how he had gotten in my house when it was always locked up after I went to school and my mom and dad left for work.
"Your mom actually gave me a key." He said, holding up a key that he retrieved from his pocket.
"Oh" I said lightly, walking past him and into the living room.
"Is that okay?" He asked, following me.
"Yeah." I said to him, but I wasn't entirely sure if I was okay with that.
Why hadn't my mom asked me about this before she just decided to give Cole complete free rein to my house? I mean of course I loved him and I wanted to be with him, but I didn't like the idea of him just being able to show up whenever he wanted to.
Cole sat next to me and I smiled at him again.
"Can you believe our three year anniversary is next month?" He asked me, pulling me close to him.
"Yeah I can believe it Cole. We are great together. I knew that he would be together for a long time." I said.
"You mean together forever?" He asked me.
I smiled.
"Yeah.... forever." I said.
I started dating Cole in the spring of freshman year. I really liked him, he was a sophomore. He was so cute to me and he would always come to my volleyball games. After a while we got together and it had been love ever since.
"You didn't have class today?" I asked him.
he shook his head.
Cole was in his freshman year of college to be a doctor. He was everybody's dream guy in so many ways. The guy that every girls parents wanted her to end up with. Somebody who was nice and had a bright future ahead of him.
"Are you doing well in your classes?" I asked him.
He nodded his head.
"I always have loved school." He said.
I gave him a kiss on the cheek and reached for the remote control.
"What about you? Are yo doing good in school?" He asked me.
"Umm I don't know. I am getting mostly C's and some B's" I said.
"Priscilla that isn't really all that great." He said.
