So, next 3 days, I spent only making gun, sidearm and a knife (all from paper). The only time I went out was to buy masking tape, as making guns really did take 3 rolls of masking tape. And this tape was pretty easy to tear into pieces, and it's adhesive was the best.
After 3 days, I had a knife with one dented edge, painted with red coloured bits here and there for the 'blood' effect, a sidearm with capacity of 3 bullets, semi-auto mechanism, which was very haphazardly made which rendered it unrecognizable, and a well detailed AUG with 10 bullet magazine with bolt action and ambidextrous magazine release. And just for clarification, only shells were ejected from these guns, as making a mechanism which fires bullets would've been too time consuming. The smoke effect was later added from a software.
The magazine of the sidearm was top-feeded, making it easier to make a bolt operated gun due to gravity making the shell to enter the chamber. But for the AUG, the magazine was normally constructed. The ambidextrous mechanism consisted of two protruding toothpicks and two rubber bands on either side of the gun. And I got the feeling that I had needlessly put a little too much attention in making the gun.
On the third day, I went to show off my creation and checkout their progress. Then I just realized that Hriday101 and KirinPatil didn't even started making guns as they assumed I had fallen I'll or some other condition since I didn't left my house for 3 days. Then in the next day, KirinPatil made his weapons and gadgets, I made a cardboard cellphone and Hriday101 made his cell phone, which was too good, but he didn't start making guns, and later he announced that he will spray-paint his firework gun.
For the apparel, we got a batman's mask for the thug to wear. For smoke grenades, we filled tic - tac boxes with powder, shaked the boxes wildly, and threw, resulting the powder to spill giving the smoke effect while throwing, actual effect was planned to do by sprinkling powder in front of the camera, or from software giving the effect of smoking the whole room. The tictac boxes were covered with paper to avoid being recognised.
So, to sum it up, on equipment scale we did pretty good, but we still didn't have the plot, which was next in agenda.
