Filming with Zoe had been a hoot. I kept staring at her in her mirror making weird faces and creeping her out. It took us a really long time just to film the tiny bit of talking that there was in the video. It was a lot of fun though, I don't think Zoe minded.

After we had finished we went into the kitchen and Zoe started to make us noodles. She told she was glad that I had come and I smiled widely as I answered "Haha, no problem Zo." She really was amazing.

______

Zoe and I were now sitting on the couch watching Elf and eating our noodles. Elf was both our favourite Christmas movie and we were both quoting along with the actors as they spoke. Every once in a while would break into laughter, and just randomly laugh for a bit. It really a lot of fun.

Soon enough though the movie was over and it had gotten quite late. I stood up and walked over to the kitchen to rinse out my bowl. I put it in the dishwasher and walked back over to the living room. Zoe was sitting on the floor with a box in front of her.

"We are playing this," she said with an evil smile, looking up at me. I glanced back down at he box more carefully and read the words along the side.

"Dream Phone?" I read aloud. "Isn't that a girl's game?" I asked.

"Yes, but it is amazing and you are playing it with me," she said with a laugh. She was very confident that I was going to play with her. Well I was, so she was confident for a good reason.

"Alright," I said reluctantly, even though I was happy on the inside. I sat across from her as she opened up the box and started to read me the directions. I wasn't really listening to them though. I was just looking at her lips the whole time.

"Do you understand?" she asked looking up at me expectantly.

"Huh? Oh yep, I get it," I lied. How hard could the game be anyway? I would learn as I went.

Turns out it was pretty complicated and I didn't know any of the rules. Nice going Alfie, I thought to myself. "Were you listening when I told you the rules?" Zoe said with a laugh as I made another mistake.

"Not really... Sorry Zo, I kind of spaced out," I said with a pouty frowny face.

"It's fine, it's really a simple game when you know the rules," she said emphasizing the last bit.

I smiled weakly at her and laughed whilst she explained the rules again. This time I made sure to listen.

She was right, it was a really easy game when you knew how to play. Zoe still won but just barely. "Haha I won!" she said standing up and jumping around me with a grin on her face.

"Ya, ya, no need to shove it in my face," I said grabbing her feet and pulling her back down to the ground. I started to tickle her much to her protests.

"Alfie- Alf, stop it!" she shrieked.

"Fine," I said fake pouting again.

She laughed and rearranged her legs so she was sitting crisscross right across from me. I yawned and she laughed.

"You really do have a very large mouth Alfie," she said with another giggle.

"Thanks," I said with a grin. "I think I'm going to go to bed, I'll see you tomorrow," I said. I leaned in a kissed her on the cheek before standing up and retreating to the spare room.
