Chapter 10

Mallory's POV

While I'm talking with Nick he brings up the memory of my first appointment and how he broke the model of the lady parts I laugh because now almost eight months later it is kind of funny we finish up our conversation and I walk over to Vanessa "Thank you for this it all looks great you did an amazing job." She turns around and looks at me "You like it?" "I love it thank you so much." She hugs me then looks down at my stomach "So how is the little man doing?" "I think he's going to be a dancer like his dad he moves all the time and kicks a lot especially at night." She smiles "Kevina was like that on some nights I would barely get any sleep at all." "How is she?" Vanessa looks across the room at Brian who is holding Kevina and making funny faces "She looks like Kevin and I'm not really sure on which one of us she will act like yet." "She's pretty." "I can't wait to meet your little one though wonder if he will be like you or Grant?" "I hope he is like Grant." She claps her hands "So are you ready to open your gifts?" "How about cake then gifts?" "Only because you're the pregnant one." "Do you think you and Kevin might have another one?" She shrugs her shoulders "I don't know we haven't talked about it he probably wants a boy."

Grant's POV

I catch up with my family since I haven't seen them in a while my mom catches me looking over at Mallory who is talking to Vanessa "She looks good Grant." I look back at my mom "Yeah she does." "So have you thought about asking her yet?" "I have the ring mom I just want to make sure that it is the right time and place when I do ask her and so far I haven't found the right time or place I want it to be special and memorable for her she wants three more kids mom she wants a little girl and if we have one I want her to be able to tell our daughter about how I proposed to her." "So you're going to have four kids?" "Yes." "Well I'm sure she will say yes no matter when you ask her to marry you and I'm glad that she makes you happy." "Thanks mom I'm glad that you like her." "I think someone is coming to see you." I turn around and see Mal heading toward me and when she gets next to me I put one arm around her waist "Vanessa said we could do the cake then the gifts if we want to." "Yeah sounds good babe." She smiles then goes to walk off to find Vanessa but I grab her arm and pull her back to me then kiss her right there in front of my family and everyone else at the baby shower. She kisses back and wraps her arms around my neck then I hear Kevin start cheering for us we pull apart then she smiles and walks off to go find Vanessa. Kevin walks over to me and pats me on the shoulder "That was the most excitement I have ever seen at a baby shower." "I probably shouldn't have done that." "Oh no I'm glad you did this needed something to spice it up." "You're not helping right now."

Vanessa's POV

I walk over to Kevin and push him he looks down at me "What was that for?" "The cheering thing when Grant kissed her." "I thought it was funny." "So Mal and I were talking earlier." "That could be a good thing or a bad thing what did you talk about?" "She asked me if we were going to have another baby." Kevin goes quiet "Only if you want another one it would be nice though to see if the next one could be a boy what do you think?" "We will have another one but let's wait until she gets a little older?" I nod in the direction of our daughter who is sleeping in AJ's arms. "Thank you Vanessa." I look at him then kiss him quickly then walk off to go find Mal.

Mallory's POV

Once the baby shower is over and Grant and I manage to get all of the gifts in his car and we are on our way home I look over at him and he's already looking at me "So what are we doing when we get home warbler?" "You look tired babe." "I am a little but I'm a fine." "We can take a nap." I laugh then look over at Grant "We are a sad couple I hope we aren't any one's relationship goals." He starts laughing "There is nothing wrong with taking naps and watching movies and arguing over who is the better super hero babe." When we get home he stops the car and he goes to start getting everything out "Let's just leave it warbler we can get it after we take a nap." We both walk in the house and he shuts the door behind us and we both kick off our shoes and walk upstairs I get in bed and curl up next to Grant when he gets in and he wraps his arms around me and I'm asleep in a few minutes.
