Chapter 30

Grant's POV

I hear the door open and shut and I get up and walk over to her but stop when I see her she looks upset and I wonder what's happened I wrap my arms around her and lift up her chin trying to get her to look at me and when I look in her green eyes they fill with tears and she starts crying and I wonder if I should call and see if Vanessa might know what is going on with her "Babe what's wrong?" Her voice breaks when she answers me "I'm so sorry Grant." "Sorry for what babe you didn't do anything." Then when she tells me what happened my world comes crashing down around me "I cheated on you." I feel tears forming in my own eyes and a lump forms in my throat I turn away from her and walk upstairs and start packing my bags.

Mallory's POV

When Grant comes back downstairs there are tears running down his face as well I walk over to him and try to reach for him but he steps away from me "Grant please I'm sorry." "I want the ring back." I look down at my engagement ring then slowly slide it off and put it in his hand and look at him "What about us and Chris?" "We will discuss when I can spend time with him." Then he walks out of the house and the door shuts behind him and I realize how stupid I was. Grant was the best thing that ever happened to me and I lost him I slide down in the floor and let the tears fall and there was a huge hole in my chest that only Grant could fill but I didn't know if we would ever get back together all I did know was I still loved him.

Kevin's  POV

I sit up and answer when my phone starts ringing I look down at the number and it's not one I know but you never know who it could be "Hello?" Vanessa sits up and looks at me as well while I'm on the phone and I realize that this might possibly be one of the worst phone calls I've ever gotten and it also means there will be someone I will have to go see when I get off the phone a little while later I hang up and look over at Vanessa "Kev is everything okay?" "We need to go see Mal something has happened." "What's wrong what happened?" "Grant was in a car accident and it doesn't look good right now." "I'll go with you I'll call someone to come watch Kevina." After we get everything together and the sitter comes we drive over to Mallory's house, I go and knock on the door but she doesn't answer Vanessa just opens the door and walks right in and I follow her and we are greeted by Mallory sitting in the floor. She looks up at us and I can tell she is confused by us being here. "I cheated on Grant with Nick." I'm a little surprised by this and I didn't see it coming. I clear my throat and walk over to her "Grant was in a car accident, he's in the hospital and it isn't looking good right now."

Mallory's POV

I find someone to watch Chris for me then Kevin takes us to the hospital when I find Grant's room I run down the hall and stop when I get to the door there is a nurse in there with him but he's on the bed not moving I walk over and sit in a chair and hold his hand "He's in a coma we aren't sure when he will wake up." She continues to tell me more about his injuries and he was lucky he didn't hit his head I nod my head and she walks out of the room. I look down at his hand in mine then start running my fingers through his bronze colored hair. I was the reason he was in here I did this to him and this brings on a fresh wave of tears I hear a cough over by the door and when I look up Kevin is stand next to me "I talked to the nurse she told me he seems like a tough guy he will wake up." "Kev do you think he will hate me when he wakes up?" "I'm not Grant so I can't answer that question for you I guess we will have to see how he feels about you when he wakes up." Then he turns around and walks out of the room leaving me alone with Grant. I look at him and look down at his hand in mine again "Please don't leave me I need you."
