***Charlie's POV***

I peek around a leaf and spot another victim. This one is a girl. She appears to be doing her hair in a mirror that I can not see. I creep around so that I am behind her. A beat passes and I lunge forward, only to see the girl lunge at me too. The brush has fallen to the floor and now clenched in her hands is a machete.

She has a wild glint in her eyes as she clashed her machete onto my sword. We battle for a few minutes before I slip my foot under hers and she falls to the ground with a loud thud. Her eyes look up at me filled with innocence. I draw my sword back and slit her throat. I turn and walk away as her body goes limp.

I whistle for the boys to come in to camp. Small groups of boys enter the camp, many of them caked in blood. Once all the boys have returned I tell them to clean up and make dinner.

I walk into my tent and sit down at my desk. It's Pan's old one. I have been trying to decipher the codes he used on his plans. He enchanted each paper so that only who he chose could see what was actually there. Not to mention the drawers that have been sealed tight with a protection spell.

The scattered parchment fills the desk, I pick one up. All that is there I a sequence of letters and numbers. I throw down the paper in anger and let out a huge breath. Why can't he just leave everything open for Jason and I to use?

"Charlie?" One boy peaks his head through the tent flap.

"Yes?" I say trying not to rip the boys head off for interrupting me.

"Dinner is ready." He squeaks and disappears.

I push back my chair and walk out of the tent. Alex hands my a tray pilled high with food. I flick my wrist and make the measly fire the boys have started into a large bonfire. We all sit around the heat, no one dares to speak. They know if they do the will probably be dead by morning.

That's one of Jason's new rules. No boys may speak while eating, they are to eat lots and then go directly to bed. Ever since Jason took over as the new Pan he has placed countless rules. All boys must participate in training, regardless of the condition they are in. The boy that does the worst will be punished, the best gets to do the punishing. And the list continues.

I look up and notice that the boys have left for bed.

"Charlie?" I jump at the voice and turn around. Jason stands there, arms crossed.

"Yes Jason?" I stand and walk over to him.

"You didn't do very well today on your hunting task." He shakes his head and puts out the fire. I stand there and watch as the tendrils of smoke reach higher and higher into the sky.

"I had to stay back and assist some of the newer recruits."

"Don't give excuses, just pick up the slack."

"Yes sir." I nod.

"Now Charlie, our two tasks."

"Ah, yes. The first can be completed tomorrow and I still have not figured out the other one."

"Very good boy. I will be back tomorrow."

"Goodbye sir."

Jason disappears, I sigh in relief and grab a left over tray of food. I survey the camp, making sure no one is still awake. After a few minutes I start out on my trek.

The trees pass as I walk, a slight breeze picking up their large drooping leaves. The tray shakes in my hand slightly as I pass the horrors of Neverland. Soon a light breaks through the darkness. I let out a sigh of relief and climb up the ladder to a towering tree house.

The door creaks as I open it. There she is, huddled under her blankets. When she hears the door open she pops her head out in fear of who it will be.

"Don't worry Wendy it's me." I smile and hand her the tray of food. She takes it and immediately starts to eat. I peer around the small room.

She has piled all of her clothes in a corner. The single table and chair sit undisturbed from the day we put her in here. Her blinds are drawn over the single window in the room. Above me the light bulb flickers from being on for such great hours.

I hear Wendy place her tray on the floor. She turn and looks at me, hope in her eyes.

"When?" She pleads reaching for my hand. I lace our finger together and scoot closer to her.

"Soon, I promise." I caress he cheek with the back of my hand. She leans into the touch and closes her eyes.

"Charlie it's so hard, being in here. All I do is lay in bed and listen to the noise of flesh being ripped as you and the boys follow the commands of Jason. I can't take this much longer." A small tear escapes the corner of her eye. I wipe it away and pull her to me. She begins to sob, I can't help but let a few tears escape too. Finally she pulls away, we sit there in silence.

"I need to go back, Jason will be here soon. I love you Wendy." I place a soft kiss on her lips and then stand.

"I love you too Charlie." I hear her say as I begin my descent down the ladder. Quickly, I race back to camp and into my tent. I try to sleep but nothing happens, so I sit there starring at dark canvas of the tent.

"Charlie." Someone is shaking me. I open my eyes and stare at the black blob in front of me. My eyes adjust to the darkness and Jason's face comes into focus.

"It's time." He says and walk out of the tent. I get dressed and follow him.

I lead him through the twisting paths of the island. After a long walk we come to a large clearing. I stop and turn to him.

"Here? Are you sure, it's so easy to be stumbled across." Jason rakes his hand through his mess of brown hair.

"I'm sure of it." I stare at him as he begins to pace the soft earth.

"You better be right boy." He points his finger right in my face.

"I am. There is not reason for me to lie to you."

"Fine. But if you are wrong I will have your head on a platter."

"Yes sir." I gulp.

"Alright stand back."

"Wait, why do we need F-" My voice stops. I glance over at Jason who is holding his hand up, preventing me from speaking.

"Don't say his name, someone could hear you." He looks as though he could spit fire. I nod and step back. Jason looks down and starts.

Hey guys! So sorry this took so long. But who could Jason want? Ideas? Lol. Have a great day tomorrow! ~Starflower12359
