Once everyone had been fitted into mortal clothes changed and had changed their hair to look more normal, everyone decided to walk down to the library and do some research on mortals.

"I should like to get one of these cellular phones that the books keep talking about." Athena said, flipping through a phone magazine.

"I would like a tweeter... Oh, oops... Twitter. I can post all my makeup styles!" Aphrodite exclaimed.

"I want an Instagram so I can post poetry." Apollo muttered, clicking through web pages on one of the library computers.

"We can get all those things, but first you all need jobs. We can't pay for all of this. That is, unless great grandpa Chaos want to help with funds..." Explained Lynn to the gods.

"Oh, of course! Perhaps if we ask nicely he'll help with his pathetic grandchildren." Jez seethed, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

"What's your problem? All you've been is rude Jez. You need an attitude adjustment." Lynn scolded, shaking her head.

"My problem is that their stupid grandpappy decided it would be fun to drop them on us, and he expects us to provide for them. We're students, Lynn! We're barely surviving as it is! We have jobs and school, meaning we can't sit around all day and teach them how to be normal. Perhaps, if they'd pay any attention to us, they would know how to act right." Yelled Jez. The gods all turned to look, but Lynn waved them away.

"Go home Jez. You're not helping this situation. I shouldn't need to worry about you as well as the gods." Lynn sighed, annoyed although her voice was calm.

"Fine. Come on Danny. We're going home."

"No." Danny said.

"...What did you say?" Jez asked incredulously.

"I said no. I'm staying and helping. Lynn can't do this on her own. She needs help, and you obviously can't help her." He replied with a shrug.

"Whatever. Have fun with the idiots of Olympus." Jez scoffed, slamming her book on the table and stomping out of the library.

"I'm going after her." Stated Apollo as he started to move towards the door.

Danny flopped down into a chair. "I wouldn't do that if I were you." He said flatly.

"Why not? I'm her boss; she should show a little more respect." said the sun God.

"If I know anything about Jez, it's that she doesn't like being talked down to. She likes being treated as an equal. She doesn't do well with change, she just needs to wrap her head around all this. It's not exactly normal, now is it?" Danny stated.

"Danny's right, we just need to leave her alone. She doesn't really like you guys all that much either." Chimed in Lynn.

"Why doesn't she like us? I mean, what have we ever done to you girls?" Asked Zeus.

"It's more of what haven't you done..." said Lynn.

"Well, then, what haven't we done?" Inquired Apollo.

"You guys are basically our parents. You told us, when you selected us to be you Oracle, that you picked us because our parents were dead and we knew how to take care of ourselves. That showed good character and you liked that. You said that you guys would be there to help us, but when we had financial problems and our lives went to crap few years ago, you guys did nothing. You've never done anything for any of us and now you guys just show up and expect us to help you? Jez likes stability, and needs it in her life since our parents died. You guys just popping up like this isn't very stable." Said Lynn.

"I'm sorry Lynn. If we'd known that you girls felt that way we would've made much more of an effort to watch out for you girls. When we're back on our thrones, you will be blessed and given gifts of plenty." Promised Zeus.

"Um.. Lynn what is a Spotify?" Asked Poseidon.

"Oh, I know this one." said Apollo. "It's a music app thingy."

"Yes it is." Said Lynn.

"So did you guys come with some sorta bank account, or are we gonna have to get clothes, phones, and food all out of our own pocket? Cause were students, and we don't have much." Asked Danny.

"Well I've got this debit card in my pocket, does that mean anything?" Asked Apollo.

"Me too." Chorused the rest of the Olympians.

"Oh that's fantastic!" Exclaimed Lynn.

"I suppose it's time for a shopping trip." Said Danny. "I'll take the guys, you take the girls and we'll meet back at the house with phones, clothes, and food. Sound like a plan?"

"I'm gonna pick up some papers, 'cause we're gonna need a bigger house." Said Lynn.

"Sounds great! Let's hit the road, Jack." said Apollo.

"Are you gonna speak in lyrics all the time?" Asked Danny.

"I dunno, we'll have to find out."
