(A/N) - if you can't imagine how you look in the story use the girl in the picture as your character

As you faced the dummy and entered the battle four buttons appeared in front of you in order: FIGHT,ACT,ITEM,and MERCY. Not sure what to do you clicked the FIGHT command,only to hear Frisk yell "NO (Y/N)!!" which made you stop causing the dummy to get annoyed and leave. The battle ends and Toriel gives you a strange look.After a few moments though she acts like nothing happened and tells you to follow her to the next room. The second she is gone you hear Chara yell in your head at Frisk. " Why the hell did you stop her?!" "Because she doesn't have to become like you! " Frisk shouts back. "So,she can make her own decisions,and she clicked the FIGHT button which means she wanted to Kill it" Chara yells in response. "Both of you shut up we can talk about this later!" you whisper yelled. Surprisingly they listen and fall silent. After the next few rooms Toriel leaves you with a CELL PHONE and goes to take care of something. 'Hey Frisk,Chara what were you talking about before?' you say in your head.The two don't answer.'Oh,come on don't give me the silent treatment!'Once again you were answered with silence.'fine..' you say before leaving the room,but surprisingly Frisk spoke to you in a small voice "but she said to stay in the room " he said. In response Chara said " you can leave if you want to (y/n), you don't have to listen to Frisk " Chara said. And even though it was against your better judgement and because you didn't like being told what to do you decided to leave,and walked out of the room.All the rooms were very similar and this one was no exception, the only real difference was the piles of leaves here and there but after looking around you saw something in one of the leaf piles that caught your attention. It was a small yellow light ,and the second Chara realized what you were looking at he practically begged you to go to it. "Go over to that light (y/n)!" Chara said.'Why,what is it?' you asked " just go!" Chara urged. Curiosity got the better of you and you approached it. The second you touched it a message popped up saying something about playing in the leaves filling you with DETERMINATION and the just the word DETERMINATION but you couldn't read it properly because it kept switching between the two like it didn't know which to choose. Next a menu came up with the words save and return. Chara and Frisk both urged you to click 'save'. Deciding to listen you clicked save and the menu was replaced by a message saying 'file saved' which vaguely reminded you of a video game. After that you decided to keep going and after solving a few puzzles you came to a crossroads. One hallway lead up and the other lead to another room. Walking towards the other room you heard Chara snicker as Frisk tried to get you to turn back."Come on (y/n) y-you should turn back,Toriel is waiting for us." But you ignored him and went to the next room. In that room a castle was visible in the distance and a small worn knife was in the corner of room,and you realized that was the reason Frisk wanted you to turn back. Chara urged you to grab it while Frisk tried to get you to leave it there. In the end you grabbed it and hid it in your back pocket. Frisk was quiet the rest of the way back even after saving again and entering Toriels home. But that didn't last long because the second Toriel left and you entered the room Toriel provided you him and a boy you assumed to be Chara materialized in front of you. Frisk looked exactly like he did back at the orphanage, and the boy you assumed to be Chara looked a lot like Frisk except his sweater was green instead of blue and had yellow stripes instead of purple ones,but the two of them were transparent from head to toe. The look on Frisks face was heartbreakingly sad,he looked about ready to cry." Why do you keep listening to Chara and not me?" he asked. " just because I picked up the knife doesn't mean I'm going to use it!" you say avoiding the question. " That doesn't answer the question (y/n)!" you knew you were avoiding the question but in all honesty you didn't know why you were listening to Chara in the first place. "I don't know why....I just..." you said sitting on the bed."whatever..." Frisk said,trying to act indifferent but you could see the sadness in his eyes. Before you could say anything thing he disappeared. "Frisk I-" you started before Chara cut me off. " let him cool off and get some rest, don't worry he won't hold a grudge over something like this for long" Chara said. You were still worried but stayed on the bed. "Chara what did Frisk mean when he said I shouldn't become like you?" you asked. " you should get some rest me and Frisk have a lot of explaining to do." Chara said knowingly. With that you laid on the bed and drifted to sleep...

(A/n)- the dummy will get annoyed and leave if you hit fight but don't attack, and if you do that for long enough it will leave
