The sudden drop in temperature was startling and you weren't exactly dressed appropriately for any type of cold weather. Deciding it was probably a good idea to seek shelter from the cold you continue. Stepping over a thick branch on the ground you walk towards a bridge that was now visible in the distance but stop in your tracks when you hear the branch from earlier snap, braking the unnaturally quite atmosphere. You turn around but no matter how long you looked around you didn't find anyone. Deciding it was best to keep going you turn back around and continue walking towards the bridge and didn't stop until you reached the edge. But you stayed there frozen in fear at the sudden footsteps approaching you from behind as you shivered from fear instead of the cold."H U M A N" a deep voice said making you jump slightly."don't you know how to greet a new pal, turn around and shake my hand" the voice said. Reluctantly you turn and shake the outstretched hand of the stranger. But all your fear vanished when you heard a whoopee cushion go off. You had to cover your mouth to stop yourself from laughing. Chara groaned seemingly annoyed and Frisk laughed along with you."heh, the old whoopee cushion in the hand trick. It's ALWAYS funny." the short skeleton said seeming happy that you found his jokes amusing."I'm Sans, Sans the skeleton. I'm supposed to be on watch for humans but....y'know I don't really care about capturing anyone." He said and you nod in understanding."But my bro Papyrus, he's a human hunting FANATIC. Hey I think that's him over there.....I have an idea go through this gate thingy my bro made the bars to wide to stop anyone " he said leading you through the gate. "Hurry, behind that conveniently shaped lamp"he said and you hurried behind it just in time as a tall skeleton who was probably Sans brother came over. "sup bro" Sans says lazily. YOU KNOW WHATS "SUP" BROTHER" Papyrus said in an over dramatic voice.They argued back and forth as you did your best not to burst out laughing at Sans puns.Once Papyrus left Sans motioned that you could come out."thank god, I thought that would never end!" Chara said.'stop whining' you say in your head back which only made him complain more.But you ignored him and went over to Sans."You should probably get going,he might come back and you'll have to sit through more of my humerus puns."Sans said. You chuckle lightly at his pun before nodding and turning to leave."hey, my bros been pretty down and he really wants to capture a human...so do you think you can play along?" Sans asks before you leave. "Sure, no problem!"you say cheerfully and leave the area.After saving and and going through all Papyrus's puzzles you see Sans waiting at the end if the bridge and you decide to talk to him."hey, kid thanks for playing along with my bro and as a thanks I'll give you advice on fighting my bro.....don't, capiche ."Sans says uncharacteristically serious. You nod "of course, I know he won't hurt me so there's no reason for me to want to hurt him." you say truthfully. Ever since you left the RUINS you had decided....no matter what you would NEVER hurt or kill anyone......e v e r.
