I shifted in my sleep having a nightmare when I jilted up drenched in sweat. I brushed my hair back when I felt someone watching me. I turn and see Adam standing next to the bed, his hand out to try to wake me I think.

"You ok?" He asked as he stood

I look down and see him shirtless and felt my face heat up.

"What r you doing in here?!" I yell/whisper

"I herd you in the room next to me and wanted to see if you were ok."

I sight and swing my legs over the bed. He came around the bed and knelt next to me.

"Are you ok Alex?" He asked as he grabbed my hands and squeezed and I looked at him

His eyes were full of worry and very green.

"I'm ok Adam." He smiled and I felt my heart stop for a second

Stop that!!!

"Do you want me to stay with you? Till you fall asleep at least." He said and I smiled then nodded

He smiled back and I laid down and he jumped over me causing me to squeal and laugh. He smiled down at me and laid down next to me.

I turned to him and looked at him as he looked at me.

"Are we friends?" I ask

"Only if you say it's ok?" He grinned and pulled the blanket over us

"I say it's ok."

He giggles and pulls me to his chest and lays his chin on my head. I blush but stay there.

"Night Alexandra." He said and I felt his voice vibrant through me

"Night Adam."

Morning

I knew it was morning but I couldn't wake up. Having a guy close to me like Adam made me have anxiety. That's why I never dated. I quickly opend my eyes and see Adam an inch from my face. 

I jerked back and he just grinned at me.

"Can you make pancakes?" He asked as he ran his fingers through his hair. 

"Ya" I said holding my chest

"Good lets go." He said and stood and turned his back to me. "Come on."

A piggyback ride?

"I'm to heavy for that."

"Nonsense" He turned his head and smiled at me 

I stood on the bed and placed my hands on his shoulders.

Oo strong.

Stop it!!!!!!!!!!!

I quickly jumped and screamed as we started leaning forward but Adam got his balance. 

"I told you." I say and try to slip off but Adam gripped my thighs

"No!! I got this. You just body slammed me. That's all."

I smiled and held on as Adam walked out of the bedroom, down the stairs, and into the kitchen. He then put me down and started getting the stuff out for pancakes.

"Hey Adam?"

"Ya?"

"Am I like.... trapped here. I mean I want to have a life." I say and pull my hair back into a tight pony tail

"Well you can go wherever you want but not till we can trust you. You know make sure you don't try to leave us. And why do you want to leave? Don't you like us?" He asked as he looked at the instructions with a grin

" Ya I like you, Poe and Sid-'

"Poe?' He asked as he gave me a questioning look. 

"The dog. As I was saying. RJ is a goof and I think I'll like him and Jacob seems distant but he's fine, But Cole. I hate him." I say and fist my hands and bite my lip.

''Hey give the guy a break. He's having a hard time." Adam said and got a sad look on his face

"Why what happened?" I ask

"Cole's Dad-"

"Adam I wouldn't if I were you." I heard Jacob say

I turn and see him and Sid in the doorway.

''Whats going on I want to know."

Sid sat at the island next to me. Jacob stayed put.

"Fine but you cant ever mention it. Ever. Ok?" Sid asked

I nodded

" Ok. well when Cole was 16 He was blamed for a crime he didn't commit.It was his sister. She.... she was raped and murdered. We know he couldn't have done it. He was so protective of her. Frankly we think his drunk dad did it,and they never found proof, but its been affecting him for a while so do not repeat any of that." 

I nodded and felt my heart break.

 I stood up and walked out of the kitchen ignoring their questions and walked right up to Cole's door. Opening the door, I saw a sleeping Cole sprawled out on the bed no blanket, no shirt, and no pants. Just his underwear. I quietly move on the bed and poked his arm and I saw his eyebrow twitch so I did it again which made him groan and move his arm over his eyes. I smiled and shook him softly.

"Cole"

He groaned again and moved his arm to open his eyes and when he did they landed on me. I leaned down and kissed his forehead. He looked at me shocked and sat up.

"I'm sorry Cole."

He just stared at me.

"Come on Cole."

"It's fine." He said in a straight tone

"I'm trying to apologize you ass and you don't even care." I say and go to move away but he grabs me and pull me to him. My back on his chest.

"I'm sorry to, and your right I am an ass" He said in my hair and I felt goosebumps run down my body.

I smile and turn my head slightly.

"Cole?"

"Yes?' He asked 

"Can I do something?"

He just stayed silent so I turned my body, Grabbed his face and smacked my lips on his.

On the inside "WHAT AM I DOING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
