I looked awful. My hair was all messy, I had bags under my eyes and...... O GOD!!!!!!! A Zit!!!!!! Right on my noes. I quickly popes it and looked at Poe. He looked at me with his smile and I smiled.

"You and Sid are the only ones I can trust now. You will protect me right?"

He jumped off the bed and came up to me and I bent down to let him lick my face.

The best kind of kiss.

I look as Cindy walked in and handed me a water.

"Ok now we need to talk." She said as she slowly held out her hand.

I look down at it and back at her the very slowly moved mine in hers.

We walked out of the room and down the stairs. Walking we passed through a dope which led to more stairs. We moved through the door and she closed it stopping Poe from coming.

"What about Poe?" I ask

"The dog?" He can't be down here. To dangerous. "

My eyes widened at the word danger.

We climbed down the stairs and it led to a massive and I mean Massive concrete maze.

"What did you want to talk about?" I ask as I touch one of the walls.

"Can you fight?"

I turn and look at her. She was putting on boxing mitts.

"I.....I don't know."

"Well-"

She tossed some boxing mitts to me

"-Lets find out."

She walked into the max and I quickly followed her. She turned left and right till we reached a large mat in the middle of the area and she walked to it.

"Come on Alex. Hit me." She said and held her arms out as if inviting me to inflict pain.

I walked to her holding the mitts on one hand.

"I can't hurt you. Your the only one that's nice to me."

" I'm nice?"

Just then her body jerked and her gloved fist hit my jaw and I caught myself from falling. I look up at her and she pulled the gloves off as she spoke

"Fuck nice. Nobody is nice now come on hit me!" She yelled and tied her hair up and put the gloves back on

I moved closer and felt my adrenaline start pumping through me.

She looked at me as if I weren't going to do anything. Just like my Father used to.

"Come on skank! Fucking hit me! If you can't then you can't be here and you'll never amount to anything. You're better off wrapping your legs around a pole!!!!"

Quickly than I ever could, I threw my fist and landed a punch and she moved back. She touched her nose and saw blood.

"Bare hands is my style." She threw her gloves down and put her fists up

I put mine up as she circled me. I watched as she looked at my stance so I kicked my leg out and she jumped back to dodge it but when she did I brought my fist to her gut and she held herself but quickly recovered. I move and she swiped her leg and kicked mine out from under me and I fell and she followed. I put my feet on her gut and pushed her off and she flew back and looked up at me as I stood.

"Come on!!" I yell

She grinned and charged at me so I waited and when she was close enough to me I grabbed her hair and smashed her face in my knee. She cried in pain and tackled me and started slamming my head in the concrete floor. I flipped us over and started wailing on her. She pushed me off and I landed on my knees and she quickly slammed her foot in my face and I fell back but rolled over as she was about to hit me but I kicked her legs and she fell but not all the way. I waited for her to stand and she only smiled spits on the floor. We collided fists flying when a pair of arms rapped around me and someone pulling Sid from me.

"What the hell!?" Cole yelled and stood between us as he looked at me then Sid

She stood straight and smiled at me as she breathed heavily.

"You wanted to know if she could fight? Well there's your answer." She said and Jacob let her go as she walked to me and held her hand out.

"Your a feisty one I can admit and you can fight, but it's sloppy. Train with me and I can change that. "

"No" Cole said

"Yes" I said and shook her hand

"Your not fighting Alex." Cole said as he tore our hands apart and gripped my arm

"Screw you." I say and watched as his eyes changed from light blue to a deep darker shade.

He thinks he can say something and I will follow but not this time. Not ever.

I jerked my arm away not breaking eye contact and stood straight to show him I'm stronger than him.

His body changed and his arms twitched.

"Cole" Jacob said

He didn't move a muscle.

I saw his hand move up quickly I think to choke me but I wasn't going to find out.

I ducked and flew my fist into his chin and moved behind him and kicked his knees sending him to the floor.

It all happens so fast that the boys couldn't even move fast enough.

Cole quickly stood and went to attack me but the boys grabbed him.

"Alex go!!" They yell and I stand there shocked and scared

Cole's eyes were black. Anger.....

Danger

Sid grabbed my arm and ran as we moved through the maze. She claimed the steps and slammed the door shut.

"You did you just do that!!!" She yelled as Poe jumped next to me trying to get my attention

"He needs a check" I say and rub my hand

Damn his face is hard.

"You can't just go and hit him coz u feel like giving him a hard time."

I look down at Poe and petted him.

"Ok..." She sighted. "Your going to need another place to sleep come on. "

We moved through the house and reached a guest room. I sit on the bed as Poe jumped on and laid down.

"You know why I'm doing this right?" She asked as she held the door knob

"So Cole can calm down and won't kill me?"

"Bingo. Ok night Alex."

"Night Cindy."

She closed the door and I fell back on the bad and sighed. Poe licked my face and I laughed but then winced.

My wounds.

I walked into the bathroom and looked in the mirror to see my nose bleeding, lip cut open on the bottom, and a few bruises. Not bad but it hurts.

I grabbed toilet paper and tried to rub the blood away from my nose but winced in pain.

Maybe I broke it?

I left it and walked back into the room, to the bed and climbed in.

Slowly I fell asleep.
