Chapter 3

Victoria's Pov
Today is the day, the day I go to California. I'm so excited I couldn't even sleep last night. Right now I'm finishing packing some stuff, It's exactly 5:00 am and were leaving at 6:00 am so I have exactly one hour to get ready. I closed my luggage and went to my closet to pick out some clothes I don't wanna go to uncomfortable so I'm picking something simple. Once I got ready I got my phone off of my desk and checked the time which was now 5:45 am. I got my cross over bag and stuffed my phone,charger,earphones and some allowance I had saved up for any emergency. Once I did this I grabbed my luggage and walked out of my room,just seeing pitch black which meant that no one else is awake. I hurried to Karen and Bethany's bedroom and walked inside and turned on their light "Ugh turn that off" Karen whined, "Well wake up it's almost time to go" I said grabbing her bed sheets,"Time for what"she groaned "To go to California" I answered "Ohh that Ugh" she said wiping her eyes, then got off the bed and made her way to the bathroom. "Ok now Bethany time for you to get up" I said removing her sheets,"Shut Up" she groaned "That attitude tho" I answered "I'm sorry but I need my sleep" she yawned while covering herself up again "Come on or we're leaving without you " I said shaking her now "Ok fine but give me time to get ready,a girl takes eternities to get beautiful" she said removing her covers. I smiled and walked out and walked to Rose's bedroom,I knocked and got no answer so I decided to go downstairs and make myself a milk shake, yes at 5:50 something in the morning.

"Let's go already" Bethany whined, "Can you be patient my friend is almost here" I answered "Fine" she said and walked to the kitchen "Where's that smelly friend of yours"Rose asked walking in the living room with a granola bar in hand,"I don't know what smelly friend you mention, I don't have smelly friends maybe you do" I glared "I'm talking about Rebecca" she stated "Ohh her my awesome pretty beautiful best friend who smells like cherries" I answered and she just rolled her eyes "Ohh mother your so rude" Karen backed me up, "Can you just plz call her before we leave her here"Rose said looking at me. I got up from the couch and walked outside and got my phone out and went through my contacts until I spotted Rebecca's name I pressed it and it dialed her number I placed it in my ear and on the third ring she answered:
*V/R phone conversation*
R-hello
V-where are you
R-on my way sorry I had to stop my bro by Starbucks
V-omg lucky
R- I know right
V-so hurry because the witch is getting pissed
R-ok bye see ya
V-bye see you here
*End of conversation*
Once we hung up I walked back inside and they were in the living room sitting down "So when is the girl coming"Rose Mary asked "She is on her way" I answered "My lord thank god did she get stuck in the toilet or something" she continued "NO" I answered,
*5 minutes later*
"DING DONG"we heard the door bell ring I got up and answered it only to see a smiling Becky "Hey Gurl" she said giving me a hug "Hi glad you could make it" I said and she walked inside to greet my step fam "Finally geez you took so long did someone die" Rose asked and Rebecca laughed "Ohh no Mrs H don't worry everything is fine thanks for asking" she said "Well let's not waist more time having a boring conversation here and let's go" she said grabbing her luggage and walking out the door and us right behind her. We got in the vehicle Me, Karen and Rebecca sat in the back while Rose Mary and Bethany sat in the front. "Ohh let's turn on the radio" Bethany said pressing on the button, the song 'Sorry' by Justin Bieber was playing, "I hate this song"Bethany said rolling her eyes "Well too bad now you have to hear it"Karen answered voluming up the radio "Ohh and maybe you don't like it but other people in this vehicle...like myself likes it" Karen continued and Bethany groaned,"So what's the plan when we get there" Rebecca asked me "Well I was hoping we hit the beach" I answered and she smirked "Ok that works". I looked at her confused "What" I asked "Nothing but I hope you find a hot cute guy there" she smiled and I blushed. I rested my head on her shoulder and slowly drifted to sleep.

"Victoria wake up" I felt Rebecca slightly shake me "What" I groaned "Were here" she said and I sat up correctly and wiped my eyes. "What time is it" I asked "Um I don't know" Rebecca answered "It's 9:00am" Karen said looking at her phone,"Ok so where are we going" I asked "The hotel to check in" Bethany answered "Yes exactly so I get one room by myself and you girls get a room"Rose said "Wait so us four have to share a room"I asked "Yes there's two beds"she answered "Ok"we all agreed and looked outside the window. "How many days are we staying here"Rebecca asked "A week" Karen answered and Rebecca nodded, "Ok so we have 5 days to look for a cute guy" Rebecca added and Bethany giggled. "Ok we're here" Rose Mary called out "Yay" Karen called out and we all laughed except for Rose. "Ok let's go inside" Rose said and we followed behind her, we walked inside and there was a fancy couch with a plasma TV which looked like a waiting area, We walked to the main counter and there was a beautiful blonde lady in her twenties behind the counter "Hello welcome my name is Ashley how may I help you today" she said with a smile "Yes we're here for our room reservations"Rose answered "Yes just give me the name that you reserved it as"Ashley asked "I registered it as my name Rose Mary Hernandez" Mary answered "Ahh yes the Hernandez Family ok I found your rooms here are your keys room 345 and 346" she said handing Ross two key cards "Glad I could help you today enjoy your stay" she added with a smile "Here is your card key girls don't loose it"Rose said handing Karen the card,"Mother were actually going to drive around California so can you please take our luggage to our room"Bethany said "Fine I will but I want all of you to come back by 10:00pm I don't want you out too late and don't bother me please go do whatever you feel like doing go on your own" she said "Ok but mother were coming to the hotel to get changed then leave again so your probably going to see us"Karen said and Rose Mary nodded "Ok well bye mother"Bethany said walking out the hotel door and us following "Ok so where are we exactly driving to" Rebecca asked "I don't know let's just go and explore"Karen suggested and got in the car. Can't wait to see where the road takes us...
Cameron's Pov
So the Jacks will be here in about 20 minutes or so and I think we're heading to the mall just to walk around and kill time while Shawn gets here from the studio like in an hour and Aaron and Taylor from whatever there doing, Right now I'm on the floor going through Instagram and Hayes is showering, while Nash is on the bed using his phone. "Hey Cam mind passing me my hoodie"Nash asked "No"I answered "Come on it's like 2 inches away" he groaned "Well then get up and get it yourself lazy ass" I answered "Ugh please bro" he said "Fine"
I grabbed the hoodie and threw it to him "I love you bro" he answered "I don't" I said sarcastically he laughed and I turned around "How is that funny"I said "Because" he said and thought of something else to say "Can't think of a reason huh" I said "Shut Up" he said throwing me a pillow.
20 minutes later
"The Jacks are here" Hayes said opening the door,we got up from the bed and approached the Jacks "Hey Man"Johnson said bro hugging me,"What's up" I answered "Hey Cam"Jack said fist pumping me "How's life Gilinsky"I said "So are we heading to the mall" Nash said fixing his hair, "Sure lets go" Jack G and Johnson said. We got out of the hotel we were staying in and headed to Nash's car "Who's driving" Nash said swinging the keys "I'll drive" I volunteered "Careful with my car" he said throwing me the keys, I nodded once I caught the keys. I got in the car and started the engine, There was too many traffic this was getting frustrating "Ugh why didn't  they go the other way" Hayes said looking at some girls driving a gray Jeep that just cut in front of us. "Girls these days who are bad at driving" Johnson said "I agree" Nash answered.
