Chapter 7~

The rest of the day I had: Transfiguration, Charms, Herbology and Detention with Snape

This time we didn't have seating plans, good thing was that we were with Hufflepuff the more accepting batch of people. A nice looking girl came up to me with a smile. "Hey I'm Gabby." 

"I'm Amelia."

"Nice to meet you, I have heard lots about you, but don't worry I wont judge you."

A cat sat on the table looking right into my eyes. It was bloody creepy. Out no where the cat turned into a lady with a bun placed upon her head, I jumped out of my seat, there were a multiple people laughing at me around the room, mainly my fellow Slytherins. I wasn't used to all this magic yet. Draco was no where to be seen, he should be here. 

The lady was an older woman I think her name was Professor Mcgonagall, a lady which I had met once at The Leaky Cauldron. "Welcome class, and a special welcome to you too Amelia, why so shocked?"

"You were a cat literally two seconds ago."

"Well this is Transfiguration isn't it?"

"Yes." People snickered, why did I have to be so far behind?

The rest of the lesson consisted of tons of reading aloud, which was publicly humiliating for me, seeing as I have know idea how to pronounce some of these wizarding words.

"Now for next session we are going to learn how to change a rat into an owl, I know a lot of you know this stuff but Amelia here is new." She chucked a friendly smile my way  "Class you are dismissed."

"Goodbye Amelia, nice meeting you!" Gabby said getting out of her chair.

"Nice meeting you too."

 Once I left the classroom, a boy with scruffy black hair, and glasses came up to me. When I studied him closely I saw a scar peaking out of his hair. "You're the new talk of the school are you?"

I crossed my arms across my chest "Im sorry? Why would you care."

"You're up to something I know it, you getting all close with Malfoy, and coming out of absolutely no where." He said in disgust. "I'm Harry, if you haven't heard."

"No I haven't, and no I'm not up to anything thank you very much." I felt an arm my wrap around me and looked up to see Draco with amusement spread across his face.

"Hello Potter, you've met Amelia then?"

"Sure have." He mumbled.

"You're just all sad because your not the talk of the school anymore Potter."

"So are you guys dating or something?"

"Er-" I mumbled.

"Yes, yes we are." Draco said pulling me closer and planting a kiss on my head. My whole face heated up. I nodded.

"I know you two are up to something." He said and stormed off. What a weird boy.

Draco still had his arm around me and I pushed him off. "What the heck Draco!"
