As I walked into the school, I ran into someone, knocking both of us to the floor. I stood up quickly, apologized, and held my hand out to help them up. They took it, and said,

"It's fine, really, I wasn't watching where I was going". I smiled and stared at him. He has shaggy black hair, beautiful, bright green eyes, and nerdy glasses.

"I guess that makes two of us," I said, smiling up at the hot dude in front of me.

"I'm Zak," He said, grinning and showing off his gorgeous dimples.

"I'm Hope".

"So, are you new? I think I would've noticed a beautiful girl like you around here before," He said casually, causing me to blush.

"U-uhh y-yeah," I stammered, still blushing bright red. I started yelling at myself in my head. "NICE GOING IDIOT" I then realized that I probably have a constipated look on my face. Zak grinned.

"Where are you from"? I thought back to the conversation I had with my "mother" and then I remembered.

"I'm from Australia".

"That makes sense, you do have an accent. So, do you like it here so far?" He asked, looking genuinely curious. I smiled slightly.

"Yeah, it's nice here, though, it's much different".

"I wonder why?" He asked sarcastically, making me roll my eyes.

"I have to get to the office. It was nice meeting you, Zak," I said, smiling. He waved at me.

"Bye! I HOPE I get to see you soon"! I rolled my eyes, again, and then waved back.

After meeting Zak, he hasn't left my thoughts. I was thinking about Zak when I ran into the second person, today. I sighed, stood up, and held out my hand to help them up. This time, it wasn't Zak, it was a girl with dark brown hair and hazel eyes. I smiled slightly at her.

"Sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going. This is the second time this happened to me today," I apologized. The girl grinned.

"It's ok. I've heard that things happen for a reason. I guess this reason was for us to meet. My name is Jacqueline. What's yours"?

"I'm Hope". Jacqueline looked at my shirt, then looked up at me with a serious expression on her face.

"Well, Hope, I can tell we will be best friends. Your shirt is beautiful," She said, seriously.

"Well, thank you! Dr. Pepper is beautiful, though. I can't imagine why anyone could hate it, it's like heaven in a bottle." I said, cracking a smile. We both ended up rolling on the floor, laughing, about something that isn't even that funny. That's what friends do, though, laughing until you are crying at something that isn't even that funny. After our Dr. Pepper induced laughing fit, we traded numbers, and then I headed to the office.

Hey! I hoped you liked this chapter! I love Dr. Pepper (It was probably obvious) and I enjoyed writing this chapter. Again, please tell me about any mistakes, and comment some ideas. Stay your beautiful selves. <3
