What would you say if I told you there were other life forms on different planets? Life forms like you. They feel. They hurt. They love. Well, I'm one of them. I bet you're thinking that I'm green and that I have one eye, but actually, I look human. But does it really matter what someone looks like? Isn't there a quote that says, "Don't judge a book by its cover"?
Why are humans so judging? They take one look at you, and mentally judge you on things you cannot control. They judge you on your hair. They judge you on your skin. But most of them don't judge you on your heart, they judge you on your appearance. They judge you on things that they can see. I guess you have to see it to believe it, right?
What would happen if humans stopped judging others based on their appearance? What if, instead, they judge you by your actions? Earth would be a much better place for everyone. If humans just stopped discriminating against other humans, everyone would be much happier. Is that possible, though? Is it possible for them to stop judging? From what I've seen, they can't.
Humans are always hurting others. They bully other humans for fun, or they bully them because of a problem at home. But if they talked the problems out with someone else, would they stop the bullying? There are some humans who helped the people who are bullied. Those people stand up for what's right. Those are the kind-hearted people. The people who care. Instead of bullying someone else, why don't they just do something productive?
My species' is the Eosak. Instead of judging other people's appearance, we judge their hearts. We don't care whether or not someone had designer jeans. In the end, does it matter if someone has 1.8 billion dollars? No. Do humans still brag about it? Yes, they do, and that is what's funny, they think money actually matters. On Earth, I guess money is important, but on my planet, Tioria, it isn't as important.
My name is Hope. I have red shoulder-length hair and gray eyes. I was sent to Earth for a mission, and the mission is to find out information about Earth. As part of the mission, I enrolled in school, and now I'm faced with the struggles of a human teen. My newly found struggles are boys, homework, tests, grades, boys, friends, popular chicks, boys, and boys. It's now the first day of school, and I am freaking out. I have no idea what to wear, I don't have any friends, and I don't know my last name (which I know is bound to come up).
My partner in this mission (My best friend) is as humans put it, an adult, so she is posing as my mother. Since she is now my "mother", she had to sign me up for school, and she didn't tell me my last name. We went over a backstory, though. I am a sixteen year old girl, and I just moved to Tennessee from Australia. My mother's name is Mary and I have never met my father. I am an only child and I'm happy that way.
I really hope you enjoyed this prologue! I know it got a little deep there, but when I wrote it, I was in one of those moods. Please comment some suggestions for this story, and I will happily read them.
