We made it! Ocean cried in her whale's mind. Ocean's whale body was like a black and white cannon, zooming through the water like torpedoes. The whale came up to the surface with a small flick over it's black rubbery tail, a puff of morning mist erupted from the swimming beauty. Ocean loved looking through her whale's eyes now, seeing the land scape, the tall towering mountains with a new cap of snow, the early morning sunrise over those mountains. For the first time in a long time Ocean was calm in the hold of her whale , there was no screaming from her master, no angry whips, no more days of brown muddy water! Only Crystal clear mountain waters. Ocean's Orca launched from the water again, a cloud of mist in her wake.
Axel
"Ocean?! Ocean?!" Axel pounded on Ocean's door, it was only 6 in the morning, he had only come to get her for an early breakfast. " I swear to god, if you don't open up this freakin' door!" He didn't finish the threat, his heart thundered in his chest. He had a bad feeling that she wouldn't be in her room. Axel grabbed the door handle and was about to twist it until the lock would break, when his mother's scent filled his nose. " Yes mother?" He said, not turning around. " You, know Axel. You're a lot like your father." His mother said, her hand was placed on his arm.
" It wasn't her choice to fight," Axel's mother said, her soft voice calming his wolf slightly. " How do you know that?" Axel interrupted his mother, she sent him a dirty look. Her sandy greying hair was still pulled up in a bun and her pale olive skin was covered with a pink shirt and worn blue jeans. " She told me." His mother said simply. " She was only 5 years old, and she watched them kill her pod or family members." Axel's breath crawled into his lungs with shock. He had never guessed that she was forced to fight, why didn't she just leave? " How was she forced to fight? How is that possible?!"
"She didn't say, but I know she's telling the truth." Axel knew his eyes were glowing with anger and doubt. He stared at his mother in the eyes, making her submit if she were lying. She did not submit, she didn't even lower her gaze. He immediately knew she was not lying to him, his alpha power to make his pack members and any other wolf lower the he was to make them submit by looking them in the eyes and put pressure on their mind that only born alphas could do and until the lower their own gaze their mind would feel as if it was being crushed and then he would be able to tell if they were lying to him or others.
" OCEAN!" Axel snarled as he entered her vacant room, her dying scent told him she had not been in her room for hours, in the room he had assigned to her to stay at night. He felt his fingernails grow into long claws, his human sized canine teeth longed into long sharp wolf canines. He picked up the nightstand by her vacant bed and chucked it at the far wall of the room. He felt as if his heart was being torn up in a blender, she had left him, she had given up on him before he could set things straight between them. Axel's chest rose and fell with angered breaths, his wolf howling to get free, to chase after their mate. Axel turned around and shifted into a huge black wolf with glowing sky blue eyes. The wolf's ears flattened to its head and charged out of the room, Caleb, Jackson and Liam Come Now! Axel sent to his top wolves through a pack connection in his mind. A moment later he had three large male wolves running besides him, Caleb being a shaggy brown wolf, Jackson a grey wolf and Liam being a reddish wolf.
Axel ran into the forest surrounding his mansion, blurry evergreen trees blurred past him, he didn't care if the other wolves were falling behind him, all that he cared about was getting to Ocean, he needed Ocean, she needed him, he wanted her. He had a bad feeling that something was happening to her or was going to happen to her, something life changing. Axel howled at the other wolves, Keep up, I will not stop for anyone for any reason. Axel sent through the mind link, his paws hitting the earth in a rhythm of desperation, he needed to get to her, to tell her that he did need her, that he did not think she was a weakness, needing to tell her that he wanted her, that he needed her.
