" We have located her sir." A muffled
voice calmly said, A man stood holding the phone to his ear his knuckles turning white, " Where is she?" The man with the phone snarled. " Sir, you have to understand that you don't know her, she may have been forced to do it." The voice in the phone muttered nervously, " Where. Is. She!?" The man demanded. " She is a fighter in the Emerald Bay Fighting Base in Alaska." The man that was holding the phone froze, his heartbeat seemed to freeze over completely, a fighter? Why a fighter? Isn't that illegal in shifter so society? " Sir, are you still there?" His pack member asked on the phone. "Are you certain she is mine?" The man holding the phone gritted out, his wolf was thrashing at the boundaries, wanting to be let free. " Yes sir, she has the scent of ocean breezes and vanilla, like you said." The frightened man on the phone was practically shaking in his boots. " Is she. Human?"
" No... Sir, she is... is not human." The younger man speaking through the phone stuttered, clearly terrified of his alpha. " Jesus, Mary and Joseph! Come on Ashton tell me already!" The man holding the phone yelled, his pack members around him stopped what they were doing and looked at him.
" She is a... an... Orca shifter." The terrified man on the line cleared his apparently dry throat. The people in the room with the alpha looked back at their work. Their alpha was moments from crushing the small, fragile phone in his large powerful hands. " Axel honey calm down." An older woman said while walking over to him. " Mama please set up her room in the unmated section of the mansion. Thank you." Axel looked down at his mother, her aging face, grey tear filled eyes, sandy brown hair that was pulled up in it's usual bun. " Why are you setting her living quarters in the unmated section of the mansion, my dear?" Axel closed his eyes and breathed through his nose, his large chest puffing up and down with anger. " I can't allow my pack to have a crime filled alpha female, she will only cause problems." He heard his mother gasp at his choice of words. "You understand that you may not know the entire story." Axel looked into his mother's eyes, she had grey eyes. He got his sky blue eyes from his father, but he got is darker brown hair from his mother. " Why would I need to know anything else? I think it's pretty hard to be forced to fight, don't ya think?" Axel growled. His mother's eyes started to glow, her eyes never glowed unless she was very angry.
" Okay Axel, it won't be my fault when you realize that you need her and she will be to far gone." Axel stared at his mother as she turned on her heels and stormed out of the room. " I don't need her, I won't ever need her." Axel promised to himself.

Two days later

Axel stood in the living room of the unmated living quarters, his beta Caleb to his left and his best warrior Jackson to his right. Ocean should be here in about 5 minutes, those 5 minutes were the longest 5 minutes in his entire existence. His heart stopped beating when he saw her for the first time, she had shiny, ink black hair, very smooth pale skin, pale green eyes, a straight small nose, high cheekbones, full ruby red lips, a long body, long legs and she was wearing a what looked like a hand crafted woolen jacket that the end of the jacket reached the back of her knees.

Axel completely forgot that she was a fighter, or that he intended to remove the mate bond. He watched her look around the room, he also noticed that her long legs were shaking, as if she had not used them in years. " Hello Alpha Axel, this is Ocean Shell." Axel kept his eyes on Ocean, confused on why she was so pale and skinny. Axel heard someone clear their throat, he looked away to look at his beta Caleb who was looking at him. Axel looked over to see Ocean hiding behind on of the pack members he sent to get her,
" My name is Axel Black, pleased to meet you." Axel said, he reached to shake her hand, secretly wanting to feel what her skin felt like. Axel frowned when Ocean's eyes widened and started to glow a faint green. " I. know. who you. are." Ocean's voice was scratchy and clearly had been unused for a long time.

Axel shut the door and slid to the floor, his back against the door. His brown hair was wild from his running hands. She has refused to talk to him even when he had showed her her new room, if she had questions she would turn to ask one of his pack members.
She frustrated him but also calmed his wolf which has been unsettled for his entire life. " She is trouble, she is trouble, she. is. trouble!" He said, pounding the side of his head with his hands. We don't need her, she is a weakness, we are the most powerful wolf in the world and can't have a troubled woman in our lives! Axel yelled at his agitated wolf. His wolf howled in his head so loudly that Axel could swear that his other pack members in the mansion could hear him.

Ocean

Ocean looked around her new room again, and again, and again. She looked at her bed that had what they said were hotel sheets, then to the night stand next to the hotel bed, then to the carpet which was fuzzy and she felt as if she was walking on clouds. She took another step closer to the bed, almost convinced that it would stand up and swallow her whole. I don't like it here. Ocean heard her whale whisper in her mind, a wave of discomfort and stress boiled up in her head. Ocean just shook it off and walked over to the side of the bed, it was promising there will be no harsh punishments, beatings, whips, and oh thank god no fights. Ocean huffed a sigh of relief as she sunk into the bed, and for the first time in forever, a sigh of renewed strength, a sigh of knowing there will be a tomorrow. Ocean closed her eyes, sleep took her away.
