The black whale struggled to take it's next breath, it's entire body hurt from swimming as fast and hard as she could to get away from the boats. The whale had swam far enough to escape the boats and had gotten as close as possible to Axel's territory, preying that they would be found by pack members. The whale was bleeding from the tight ropes, she was tired, and the rope felt as if they weighed hundreds of pounds. The whale wheezed with labored breaths, no one was here to take the pain away, no one was here for her, no one wanted her, not even Axel. What Ocean felt for Axel was confusing, she wanted to hate him, wanting to have the strength to kill him for calling her weak. What had he meant when he said that he wouldn't complete the mate bond? What is a Mate Bond?

Ocean lowly moved her tail to keep herself from sinking below the water, knowing that if she would sink under water she wouldn't be able to swim back up to breath from her tiredness. Small waves racked her tired body, sharp jagged rocks were under her. A larger wave moved her, the rope that was hanging from her body hooked to some rocks, holding her underwater.

Ocean's lungs burned with the lack of oxygen, her whale thrashed in the ropes, Ocean's human half was slowly dying. Ocean's whale thrashed, sending echoes under water, loud enough to be heard above water. Call...For...A...xel. Ocean whispered to her whale. Her whale closed it's eyes and let their soul lunge for Axel's, hopefully it would not be to late.

Axel

We need you. Axel heard a feminine voice as soft as silk whisper in his mind, it was Ocean's soul calling for his own. Where. Are. You. Axel asked her soul. Immediately a image of the bay near his mansion filtered in his mind. Without thinking he took off, running as fast as he possibly could, he needed to save her.

Axel shifted into human form and ran to the water, he dove in. A black form was under the water, ropes tangled around it's still form. Axel sunk under water to the rocks that had caught the nets. His claws grew immediately, he saw the whale's eyes open slowly, watching him with hope. He cut the ropes from the rocks, his whale immediately swam to the surface. And took a deep breath, before shifting into human form.

Axel swam over to Ocean's still form and pulled her close to him, he swam over to the shore and picked her up in his arms. As he walked to the mansion with her in his arms, she opened her eyes and gazed at him. " My... Axel." She said, smiling. Axel smiled down at her. " My Ocean." He said, watching her smile at him.
