Day 7,801. A feminine voice whispered in the animal's mind, it's been 7,801 days since we have been here. The painful heat of the sun beat against a small weak black whale. It's black and white back was above the surface of the thick muddy water. Thick robe was tied around it's head, closing the whale's mouth to keep it from biting anything or anyone. A small, blood stained boat doc was behind the whale, the animal's tail was under the doc, shackled to the bottom. The only time it was allowed to move or even be unshackled was when it was scheduled for a fight. The trapped woman inside of the whale's mind rammed against the mind's wall of sanity. The woman's animal side had become feral ( The animal half of her had taken over completely.) she had not been in human form for twenty years. She was only 5 summers old when her small pod was killed and she and another young whale shifter was captured and sent to the highest bidder. The woman could no longer remember the other young shifter's name, it has been twenty years.

"Crack", A sharp sound pulled back the woman, she sunk back into the mind of her animal. The whale would have jerked at the suddenness of the sound but if has been years of hearing that same sound, so no, it did not scare the animal or the trapped woman. The whale could see out of the corner of it's pale green eyes, a small fat man on the doc, a familiar black whip in his hand.
"I have scheduled another fight tonight at 9 a.m sharp, you'll know who your fighting with soon enough. Come on, let's go!" The man's deep gravely voice was like a cat's claws nailing into your skin, never letting go. The man knelt down next to the locks that held the ropes in place and twisted them, releasing the painful bite of the ropes. The man yelled at some other men to grab the ropes, to not let her get loose. A large splash vibrated in the water, rocking the small female whale.

Once they unshackled the whale's tail from under the doc, six full grown men jumped into the water with a large stretcher. The men loaded themselves besides her, three on both sides of the whale. They shoved the stretcher under the whale, the whale was far to weak to resist. She was glad that she would be injected with drugs to increase her strength, speed, and energy later, before the fight.

A few hours later, the whale was cornered into a small stall, no roof, a small sliding door to the right wall, and not enough room for the animal to successfully turn around. The walls hugged the whale's side like a lover's arms. With drugs bouncing around in it's blood stream, the whale was reenergized. A loud squeal came from deep in the vocal chords, it thrashed like a wild horse would in the corral before a rodeo. " Let's get started, first up is Brian's shifter and then," The man's voice trailed off." Why are they both Killer Whales?" The man on the speakers whispered, but didn't move the microphone from his mouth. The whale in the stall across the room was a male shifter on heavy drugs, the female on the other side of the room stood no chance against the raging male. She may be on drugs but she was smaller, weaker, and had a few undiagnosed illnesses. " Ladies and Gentlemen please settle down, the fight will start in a few moments." A different man spoke on the speakers, agitation heavy in his low voice. A few huffs, or growls came from the audience that was quickly growing.

The female killer whale sunk her head into the water in the stall, the jerked her head up, sending a small wave across her dried back. Please let me take control!? A feminine voice filled the whale's mind, the woman begging to take back control. The whale half of her had taken over since the first fight, mostly to protect her though, never allowing the woman to be in human form.

The whale sunk under the filthy water, her dorsal fin still well over the surface of the green water. " If you win this fight I will move up your feeding amount, I you may lose I will use you as bait and personally remove each of your teeth myself." The whale's master growled above her, he was perched on the wall that had the gait that would release her from the stall into the arena. " When I say release, the shifter's masters will pull up the gait!" The female orca did a low pitch screech. The male killer whale twitched, adrenaline pumping like a heartbeat, "Ready..." The female orca took a deep breath through her blow hole on the top of her black head, the male orca drifted closer to the gait of his tiny stall very ready to boom out when they pull up the gait. " Set..." The female orca drifted to the gait, her ridged body tense. The male killer whale rammed his large head into the gait, his agitation obvious. "RELEASE!"

The gaits were pulled up with two men, the female orca tore out of her stall into a rectangular pool, she meet a long heavy angry male Killer Whale. He rammed into her, throwing her into the wall of the pool, making the room shake, cheering erupted around the two fighting beast. The female orca let out a loud pitched scream and dived to the seething male. She bit into the side of his face, ripping out a piece of black bloody flesh. The male screamed, sending a dizzying sound into the water. She lunged at him again grabbing hold of his face again, Please Kill Me. The male whispered to her, the female felt sadness coming from the male in heavy waves.

" FIGHT!" A scream echoed through the room, Ocean turned her large head to see her master standing on the wall that was with the stall. Ocean turned back to the bleeding male and swam up to him and grabbed hold of his neck, and thrashed her body, snapping his neck. Then screams rammed into her sensitive ears, pain filled screams.

And for the first time on 20 years Ocean was able to shift into her human form. " RUN!" Ocean looked at the dead shifter, feeling sorry for him, but quickly blocking emotions for anything , she looked around to see the entire room empty, chairs lined up around the pool, a microphone laying on the cement floor shattered, jackets laying in chairs or on the floor. She grabbed the sides of the pool with her hands and dragged herself to the stair cases. She tried to stand up, her skinny legs wobbly, she looked down at her left hand and still saw the small tattoo of a killer whale in her palm she was born with, and smiled, though it never reached her eyes.

Ocean sucked in a quick breath when she set her right bare foot on the cement ground, it was very cold and hard. She wiggled her toes and felt the ground come and go against her wiggling toes. Another howl broke into the empty air, closer this time. Ocean gasped, We have to get out of here now! She looked around and saw a long black parka sitting in an empty chair near another door in the room, she very oddly walked over to the chair and picked up the parka, it's texture an odd sensation against her fingertips. Ocean pulled it on and zipped it up closing the clothes over her body. She turned around and was heading of the back door to the room, as the other door across the room slapped open. Three very large male wolf shifters in the door way. " Ocean, we found you," One whispered.
