It has been a week since we were captured and it has been pretty odd the food they gave us are rats and mice. When they first gave them to us I refused to eat it, they were disgusting, but soon after I was so hungry that I had no choice but to eat them and I regretted it. I have been trying to get those dogs to let us out or at least the others I want to find my mother. I miss her, I miss her so much.

I have been having nightmares every night each one worse than the last. Last night it consisted of me seeing my mother covered in blood but it wasn't her own blood. Then an image of the pack leader on the grown his breath shallow. The next image was of all of my friends disappearing one by one and me being all alone. Through all of this all I could hear was a low growl, a terrifying growl that would make any wolf cower in fear. The finale image that I saw last night was of me on the ground and shadow looming over me, the growl was getting louder and louder to the point that it was right in my ear. When I woke up I looked around to see my friends all talking or eating when I got up Jace turned around and yipped happily.

"Your awake finally..... are you ok? You seem sick...... ARE YOU SICK?"

'What?..... No I'm fine just had a nightmare that's all......"

"Oh...... Do you want to talk about it?"

"Huh? Oh..... No I ok thanks though for wondering....."

At that moment a kind but gruff sounding voice came from behind me.

"Oh good your awake..... took you long enough" with that she through a large rat into my pen. It splatted on the ground and smelled rancid.

"Where did you three get these rats?"

"HEY! Hunting isn't as easy as you wolves make it out to be this is all we could catch." I looked up at her and saw the exhaustion in her eyes, my eyes then trailed to her frame she is muscular yes, but she was also very skinny, I then looked at the other two they were skinny as well. It was clear to me that they needed help and even though I didn't want to I was prepared and open to offer them that help.

"Ugh are you going to stare at me or are you going to say something?"

"Huh?"

"Its no fun to say something snarky if others don't acknowledge it" she huffed in a kind of whiny pup way. She rolled her eyes and then left, I watched as her figure made a distance between us and then I turned to Jace who was staring at me along with Zeke. I then looked over at Annabelle she was looking in our direction and was paying attention to what was happening but also was distant. I then looked back at Jace.

"I know what your thinking and no the answer is no!"

We crouched in the bushes I looked to my left I see Jace and the two male dogs, then to my right I see Zeke, Annabelle, and the female. They looked back at me expectingly, as if I was the only one who knew what I was doing when Annabelle, Zeke, Jace, and I go hunting together all the time.I whispered loud enough for all of them to hear but no potential prey heard me.

"You guys stay back and watch how we hunt and then you will try as well."The large male bared his teeth at me.

"What makes you think we don't know how to hunt?!?" The young male which was quite small compared to the other two.

"You know for a fact we don't.... so let the she-wolf help us!"

The larger male growled but stayed crouched and lowered his head avoid the rest of our gazes.
