The Wolf Dog

Chapter 4

"Do you guys want to show us around the territory?"

"Sure..." I looked at the she wolf that was talking to me. Her name is Annabell. Her fur is as long as Sandy's but instead of blonde it is red but more so as a red wolf she is beautiful and based on how Zeke looks at her I think he thinks so as well.

"Yeah... C'mon lets go we have a lot of area to cover!" I looked over at Zeke he was looking at all of us. His jaw starts to hang open and I smell a she-wolf who has a lot of new members to her group of friends.

"Hey wo where has your mom been?" She said with so much sarcasm that I could smell it. I turned around to face her. And before I could say anything a male wolf walks in front of me. He was muscular with dark grey fur and his eyes were forest green.

"Yeah where is she wo? I bet you blame yourself because you were to weak to fight back." His voice was gruff and deep but it was nothing short of intimidating.

Jace steps next to me and whispers in my ear "c'mon this isn't worth it." I turn around and we start walking away but I pause and watch my friends walk past me. I could hear that same gruff voice that intimidated me but right now it just angered me.

"Heck I bet in the back of her mind she was begging to be taken away from you. It doesn't matter she was the one that mated with a dog I bet she was to weak to find a real wolf so she just settled with a dirty, low life--" I cut him off by turning and lunged at him heading straight for his throat but he ducked and I wound up grabbing his scruff and flipping him on to his back which put him in a submissive position. I snarled and yelled in his face "DON'T YOU EVER SPEAK ABOUT MY PARENTS EVER AGAIN!!!"

He started whimpering and I continued to growl and snarl. Then I realized that someone was pulling on me by my scruff and I let go to face them. It was Jace who when I turned around looked terrified. The next thing I know I feel a wolf jump on my back and I felt their teeth sink into my leg I Yelp and spin my head around and begin to growl and was about to jump at my attacker when they were thrown off of me.

I snap my head to my pack leader and normally I would apologize and submit like my friends and enemies around me were doing. But this time I didn't I just stood there and looked at him as he snarled I just stood there motionless he then put his front legs on me and put his weight on me trying to push me down. But I just jumped to the side and growled. He raised his eye brows at me and went to lung at me but Jace jumped at him while the alpha was in mid jump which sent him flying to the side. My head snapped towards my best friend who stood next to me before the alpha could stand up though me and my three other friends ran off towards the edge of the territory where I last saw my mother.

"ARE YOU TWO IDIOTS?!?" Zeke yelled when we stopped.

"No I'm just dominate and Jace was making sure that the alpha didn't kill me" he shook his head at us and smiles. And before my friend could finish I caught the sent of my mother and I started following it.

"Where are you going?"

"I going to find my mother."

"What?!? You don't even know if she is alive!"

"Well I don't want to live my life not knowing besides the alpha probably wants me dead thanks to that stunt I pulled." Zeke seemed like he was about to talk again but then the bushes rustled. We looked at them and their familiar scents flood my nose. Oh god not again! The scents were getting closer and I began to growl along with my friends I didn't understand why those three came back by sense there was four of us I knew we could take them.

The medium sized dog lunged out at us proceeding to tackle Zeke and Jace at the same time and considering the fact that that action is not an easy task I knew we were in for it. The smallest of the three large dogs jumped out and tackled Annabell. One of them was missing and once I turned to help Annabell he came out and tackled me. And with his deep and aggressive voice he uttered " we meet again little pup are you going to be easy to take down like last time?"
