The first time you saw him
17th of March, 2014
Dear ,
It was a bright April morning.
I was up and awake as soon as the sunlight streamed into my room. I'd always been a morning person, a trait of mine that most teenagers were foreign to. A deep belief of mine - your sleep patterns are directly proportional to your inner peace. The better the timings, the more peaceful you are.
I'd only changed into my jogging gear when I heard my mom's early morning raga. She was, and always has been, an amazing musician. It was a great start to another normal day in my mundane life. Letting out a sigh of contentment, I shut the front door behind me.
Little did I know, my life would be anything but mundane after seeing you.

I sat on one of the benches, as I guzzled some water and tried to catch my breath. The sun had started to rise higher, the sunlight scorching my exposed shoulders. The sky had been clear, except for the one or two stray white clouds here and there. I controlled my breathing as I absorbed the beautiful view in front of me.The blending of the rising sun along with an escaping darkness is one of the most exquisite sights you will ever come across. My day doesn't feel complete without this breathtaking view as a start. My grandmother had often told me that if you are to call yourself a bird who dreams to reach heights and refrains from looking backward, then you must learn how to rise early. It is the fundamental of success.
My eyes flickered toward you.
I froze.
You smiled.
I did too.
And my life took a turn- a reckless one, might I add.
