After slavery the blacks were till yet slaves in a way, we still didn't have rights to do anything. We couldn't vote, we couldn't be in the same space as the whites or do the things they can and this is segregation. The children couldn't even go to the same school or anything, no blacks were aloud with the whites unless they worked for them. there were section for Colored and white everything for the colored people was dirty nasty un sanitary and every thing for the whites was a complete opposites or the coloreds.
If a colored person was caught flirting or offending a white person or most likely a women you will Get
published.
There was one story of a14year old boy named Emmit Till in Mississippi, he was reportently flirting and offended a white women.4days later her husband and his half brother went and got Emmit from his uncle's house toke him to a barn and beat him, gageb out his eyes and shot him in the head toke him to a lake and tied a 70 pound cotton grain to his neck with bobed wire and throw him into the water with they technicaly hung him under water.They found his body 3days later his face was so beating that they couldn't identify him. His mother request a open casket funeral so every one see what did to her child it was 1955 so they didn't get any justice they knew who did it but still didn't do anything about it.
