Chapter 8: Training

Recap:

When I was charging towards Zabuza he was able to stab my side with my kunai. I was so in the moment that I didn't even notice it.

My vision starting to become cloudy and everyone's voices were muffled.

It must be the blood lost...

"Natsumi?", some called out, I couldn't tell who because of my muffled senses.
"Are you ok?", the voice was a little clearer this time, I look up and see a silhouette of duckbutt-ish hair. Sasuke?

"Yeah, I'm fine-", that's when everything turns black and I fall towards Sasuke.

After the Tracker Ninja took away Zabuzas body I turned my gaze towards Natsumi. I narrowed my eyes at her, she had one of her hands on her side and she looked like she would fall over if gently pushed her.

I made my way over to Natsumi to question her.

"Natsumi?", I called out, She squinted her eyes and looked at me as if she didn't know who I was. "Are you ok?", I question, she seemed to relax a little bit but her balance wavered slightly.

"Yeah, I'm fine-", before she could say anything else her eyes rolled to the back of her head and she fell towards me.

"Natsumi?!", I yelled while I caught her body.

"Is she ok?", Naruto asked stupidly.

"I don't know idiot, she just passed out", I respond to Naruto without taking my eyes off of her.

While I was looking at her I noticed the side her hand was covering was covered in blood.

"Crap, she's wounded", I silently curse.

"Quick, let's get her to my home, my daughter can patch her up", Tazuna suggested.

I nodded and let Tazuna cary Natsumi while I helped Naruto with Kakashi.

I wasn't happy with the fact I wasn't the one carrying her but helping Naruto with Kakashi would make the journey quicker so I bit my tongue and hoped that Natsumi would be ok.

(The next day)

Sakura, Naruto and I were in Kakashis room waiting for him to recover from over use of his Sharrigan.

"Guys, we need to talk about Zabuza", Kakashi spoke up. "But we should probably wait till Natsumi is up, she'll need to hear this", I nod and raise my self from my kneeling position.

"I'll go check on her", I say walk towards Natsumis room that was just down the hall of Tazuna's house.

I didn't knock and just opened the door. Natsumi was on her feet and unraveling her bandages around her neck.

I loudly cleared my throat making her jump slightly and hide her neck.

"Sasuke.... You scared me", she always was jumpy around me when I catch in something. I shake my head and make my way towards her. She quickly covers her neck with her hand and the bandages to hide her injury.
