The biggest star shined brightly above us
Its light that we cannot ever get enough of
Swaying to and from under the prickling heat
Flowers blooming made me think of something sweet
Plucking and reaching out for them wasn't the easiest thing to do
But I pushed myself to grab them because it was for you and only you
There were so much thorns that gave me so much scratches
And under the biggest star made it feel like newly lit matches
They may not be daisies but I can greatly assure you
That my feelings are here to stay, to love and to need you.
