We used Hasley's birth name, Ashley, for her character :-)

Louis sat down with his cup of coffee down at his desk like every other day, immediately starting on his work. He was almost instantly interrupted by his co worker, Ashley.

''I thought you had blue eyes, Tommo," Ashley grinned at Louis from her desk trying to stifle her laughter.

''What are you talking about?'' Louis grumbled, not feeling the effect of the caffeine drink yet.

''You have something making your eye look black rather than blue. Wait! You're wearing mascara aren't you?'' She grinned innocently at him.

''And I thought your hair was brown, not blond? What happened?" Louis replied. She raised an eyebrow at his lame comeback, before leaning forward to get a better view of Louis black eye.

''Well?'' She asked.

''Well what?'' Louis asked confused.

''The walls aren't going to tell me what happened, so spill!'' Ashley said, getting impatient.

''I got in a fight," Louis shrugged, not in the mood to elaborate.

''Louis, I just want to know if you're okay," Her eyes softened.

Ashley had become a very good friend to Louis in the time he's spent in London. She immediately welcomed him with open arms on the very first day. Louis was happy he found such a great friend with a sass to match his. Even though he believed he was the sassiest between the two of them. But don't tell Ashley he said that.

''Say, let's get lunch later, on you of course, and you tell me what happened; only if you want to, of course," She grinned softly at him, her blond hair falling into her eyes.

"Split the bill?"

"Nah, I was just kidding. It's on me, small bean."

Louis couldn't find the energy to complain about her nickname for him, so instead mumbled a thank you and a yes and all was set for lunch.

Louis was happily munching on his burger and sipping his coke while Ashley waited for the story behind this black eye, silently chewing on her fries.

''So,'' She stated.

''So, '' Louis said back.

''Oh common, Tommo! Tell me what went down,'' She pleaded, her eyes growing big like a child's.

Louis reluctantly put down his chicken burger and took a sip of his coke, mumbling, ''I got in a fight.''

''Well no shit Sherlock, I thought that much.''

Louis shot her a sour look but then a bright grin spread, ''But you should have seen the other guy!''

''Sure, pint-sized Rambo. But I still have to find out to why you were in a fight."

''I'm 5'9. Anyway, a guy at the bar was being a bit rowdy, so things happened."

''Louis, I'm not here to fill out a riddle book.'' Ashley shot him a blank look.

''Okay, fine,'' He sighed, ''There was this waiter and this guy was giving him crap about messing up his orders apparently. And he lost his shit and grabbed Harry by the collar and then I lost my shit. So the guy mocked him and we got in a fight, and fuck, Harry looks the worst," Louis rambled with wild hand gestures.

''Louis?'' Ashley asked,uncertain.

''Yes Ash?''

''Harry? As in cheating-ex-boyfriend-slash-beauty Harry?'' she asked in disbelieve.

Louis had grown so close to Ashley that they became friends who would often sit with some beer and just talk and talk and talk. And well drink. And so a few hearts were spilled between the two.

''Funny story!''

''Louis! How? Why is he in London?'' Ashley asked confused.

''That's what I'm trying to figure out,'' Louis furrowed his eyebrows.

It's been bothering Louis to be honest. Why would he come to London?

He literally had no reason. And that bothered Louis. A lot.

''This is all so crazy. So your ex, who you dated for four year and wanted a future with, is in the same city as you? And you defended his honour?''

''Oh, it gets crazier,'' Louis sighed.

Ashley gasped, almost knocking over her coke as she leaned forward with an exaggerated whisper,"Oh! Tell me. Tell me. Tell me."

''We also live in the same apartment building and-'' Louis was cut off, he often was around Ashley. She knew when to keep quiet, but when they gossip she turns into some sort of hurricane.

''No! How did you end up in a soap opera, Louis?! Why didn't you tell me you were an actor?''

''It gets even more interesting,'' Louis went on further, ignoring Ashley's interruption.

''I doubt that," She snorted.

''Oh you'd be surprised, he offered to make me dinner as a thanks. And I think he saw my frozen food and well... Now he's going to cook for me every night, too.'' Louis explained.

He was also thinking about what could be for dinner than night. He really missed home-cooked food. Harry's food, even though he found it hard to admit. He's hasn't had it in such a long time.

''But why? I thought you hated his guts!'' Ashley looked at Louis, her mouth agape.

''I wish I did,'' Louis sighed looking over the busy street in London.

Harry and Louis were sitting opposite each other at Harry's table that night, eating in silence all that could be heard was Louis' grunts of approval.

Suddenly Sugar we're going down started blaring through Louis' phone.

''I'm sorry I have to take this," Louis stood up from the table walking towards the tiny balcony, not even waiting for a response from the younger boy.

But Harry couldn't hear much from what Louis was saying.

Louis was on the phone with Ashley.

''Am I bothering?'' Ashley asked unsure.

''No! No,'' Louis assured her, glancing at Harry who was now playing around with the peas on his plate, no expression on his face.

Ashley needed some help with work and Louis' was one of the few people that could help.

They talked more for a bit after that and Louis let out a loud giggle at something Ashley had said.

And inside Harry sat with a sour expression.

When Louis was done with the call he walked back inside with a huge grin on his face.

''An important call?'' Harry asked trying to mask his sour expression.

''Oh, it's a lass from work that needed some help,'' Louis still grinned not noticing Harry's expression.

''Didn't seem like it,'' Harry mumbled so Louis couldn't hear.

Hiya lovely readers, it's me vaporxnsmoke. Just stopping by to say I love you and you're beautiful.
