Chapter 24

Jason's P.O.V.

I sat watching Ariana as she sat across from me, in between us was the kitchen island as she texted away on her phone I wandered how she typed so much without her thumbs giving up.

"Ariana" I spoke up "Hm?" She hummed as she kept her eyes on her phone.

"Come here" I sighed, she looked up at me confused as she slowly stood up and came around the island, over to me I put my arm out and pulled her over to me were she sat stood in front of me pressed against the counter I sat on the stool in front of her.

"Are you feeling sore today?" I asked her as I caressed her side.

"Yeah" she answered looking down at her hands, "You will feel better in a couple hours don't worry..." I paused moving her hair out of her face.

"I need to speak to you... Get some things out the way before we go back home" I said making her look up at me nodding. Deciding that today would be best to go back home, after finding out desieds plan there was no point staying here, I knew what he was doing and I knew his every move.

"If your parents ask you questions, you don't mention me yet, just tell them what your friend Taylor told them and go along with it okay?" I told her "But what if they find out about you...?" She asked quietly.

I shook my head "They won't, no one back home knows your with me so it will be fine" I paused as she finally nodded.

"But you have to understand Ari... You can't be going to any parties or anything right now, because I won't be there to protect you from- I just won't be there and I can't have anything happen to you, do you understand?" I said "But-" I cut her off quickly "Ariana, just listen to me okay" I sighed and she closed her mouth nodding.

"I'll try my best to see you during the day, but your parents... If they see me, I don't think they'll be happy about it" Of course they wouldn't be, they knew who I was and if they found out about me and Ariana, they'd go crazy probably.

"They can't know... Not yet" She spoke up shaking her head. "But when? Huh? I can't wait for too long Ariana," I paused as she sighed.

"I want to be able to pick you up from your house and take you to dates, show you of to everyone, I want to be able to treat you like the Princess you are... But I can't, because you don't want anyone knowing about us" I spoke clenching my jaw as I tried not to get mad.

"Jason, you have to understand that I can't just go home and tell everyone about us... Are you forgetting who you are?" She answered back making me narrow my eyes at her, "Listen... I love you, but I can't have anyone knowing about us right now... Please just understand that" She sighed cupping my face.

I sighed closing my eyes briefly, "Okay..." I finally said, I felt her press her lips on to mine and letting them lay there for a couple seconds before pulling away.

"I love you... So much sweetheart" I muttered against her soft lips, "I love you too baby"
