Chapter 27

Colten played by Connor Weil

Ariana's P.O.V.

I yawned as I slowly woke up to the sound of my alarm going off.

I sat on my bed for a while just waking myself up, I wasn't the only one that did that right.

I then stood up and went in to my bathroom, shutting the door behind me I took of Jason's shirt that I was wearing, off before stepping in to the shower. I instantly relaxed as the warm water hit my skin.

Once I had showered I walked out and and brushed my teeth and blow dried my hair.

After doing my makeup, subtle, I walked in to my closet were I put on my undergarments before I got dressed. I wore black cut off shorts and a white creamy thin sweater and my black vans.

I had straightened my hair and left it out before I went and then I tied my shoe laces before grabbing my two textbooks and my phone and left my bedroom. I went down the stairs and saw my mom stood near the counter with a cup of coffee in her hands she watched the TV, one of her favourite cooking shows probably.

"Mornin'" I yawned as I took out some juice from the fridge "Morning honey," She spoke smiling at me.

"So, me and your father are going to out tonight for a dinner, do you want to come with us? It is quite a fancy restaurant and you'll have to dress up" She informed me as she turned the TV off.

"Oh no, you two go. Have fun" I smirked making her laugh shaking her head "No honey in far too old for-" I cut her off "Mom! Please don't tell me about your sex life" I made a face of disgust as she burst out laughing.

I saw my phone light up to see Jason had texted me saying he was outside, "Er I gotta go, when are you going to leave for the dinner tonight?" I asked stepping back she nodded "Around 6 I think" She answered setting her cup down.

"Okay, see you later" I told her as I picked my phone and textbook up she nodded "Have a good day!" She called out before I left the kitchen. I opened the front door as I stared down at my phone to see the girls had texted me in the group chat sending me pictures of some new guy who joined the school.

I got in to Jason's car and shut the door behind me, "Hey" I smiled kissing his cheek.

"Hey" he answered putting his hand on my thigh as he caressed it with his thumb I looked down at my phone seeing all the pictures they were sending me of this boy who had no clue they were taking pictures of him, stalkers.

"Who's that?" Jason asked as he stopped at the red light, glancing over at my phone as I had viewed one of the pictures.

"Some new boy at our school" I answered locking my phone.

"Okay, so why have you got a picture of him?" He asked sternly as he began driving again. I looked up at him frowning "The girls were just sending me pictures of him..." I told him, it did sound bad but still.

"Right" he answered and I caught him rolling his eyes as he put his sunglasses on and turned in to the car park.

I sighed as he parked his car in the car park "Jasonnnn" I complained as he kept his firm grip on the steering wheel, he didn't reply "Don't be mad Jase" I pouted leaning closer to him and placing my hand on his cheek to making him look at me.

"Please?" I whispered as he sighed "I'm not" He finally replied as I kissed the side of his mouth.

"Then stop frowning and looking like you wanna kill someone" I said sitting back in my seat.

He chuckled "Bye" I smiled as I opened the door "I love you!" He called out as I stepped out "I love you too" I giggled shutting the door I turned around before walking up to the school smiling at people who said hi to me.

"Girl!" I heard the voice of Nessa call as all three joined my side.

"Yes?" I joked making them laugh "We missed you! Taylor told us you went to see your grandparents" I looked over at Taylor who winked at me. Since they go to my school, if I told them I was on a trip with the school they wouldn't believe me for sure.

"Yeah, I did" I answered looking down at my feet as I avoided eye contact, if they saw my face they'd no I was lying.

"So, what'd you think of that guy then?" Kayla smirked at me as we went to the back of the school were my lockers were.

"Er... Nothing really to say about him" I laughed it off walking over to my locker.

"Really? Well maybe you will... When he comes up to you" Nessa suddenly yelled "What?" I confused as I opened the locker "Act natural!" Taylor quickly said as I looked at them, they stood awkwardly.

I turned around to see the same boy coming over, he was tall, had brown hair that was styled to the side and his muscles were on show from his cut off black V neck shirt.

"Hello ladies" He spoke coming up to us, I looked up at him as I studied his face, he had a defined jaw and bright blue eyes.

"Hey" Nessa said, I looked at her as she practically drooled over him.

"I just wanted to come over and ask you kindly to stop taking pictures of me," He chuckled looking at the girls I couldn't help but let out a laugh.

He stopped his gaze at me as I stood back, "And you are?" He asked tilting his head to the side as he studied my face.

"Ariana" I answered as I closed my locker.

"I'm Colten, new here... Would you mind showing me around?" He asked politly.

I looked at the girls who gave me a 'You better do it' look, however looking at Taylor she gave me a awkward smile since she knew I was with Jason.

"Er... I actually have a couple things to do, Nessa, you can show him around" I played off as I looked at Nessa, she stood up straight nodding eagerly.

"Sure! I mean... Yeah whatever" She flipped her hair behind her shoulder as I tried to hold back my laugh.

"Come on Colten, I've got free period so I've got time" She smiled, he nodded glancing at me before she took his arm and dragged him away with her I chuckled shaking my head as I turned around to face Taylor and Kayla.

"What?" I asked as kayla stared at me in shock.

"He was so hot! Why would you not want to show him around?!" She yelled her mouth parted.

I shrugged glancing at Taylor and back at Nessa, "I'm just not interested right now..." I answered as the bel rang.

"Ugh I have AP Chemistry and I sit with fucking Daniel" Kayla groaned, her and Daniel who was a jock, had a thing a while back but she found out he just wanted to get in her pants so she dumped his ass, he's a player anyway and she could do better.

"Come on" I laughed before we all walked away.
