My skin crawls as Alix scoots closer to me, something doesn't feel right. I keep my distance and just my luck, the movie ends. "Well look at that." Alix says, standing. "Maybe we can hang out again later?" I ask. Alix nods and he leaves. Sky pokes her head out of the kitchen. "Dude, what happened?" She asks. "Depends.... If you're talking about between Alix and I, that would be nothing." I reply. "Not that, when you went out to feed." She says. I stand up, "We were right about Devin. He tried to kill the others." I say. "The others....?" She asks, not quite sure who I mean. "The others of Ghost Town." I say. "Fuck, did he hurt any of them?" Sky asks. I shake my head. "No I was able to stop him.... But he said that I was going to be the one he kisses." I say, looking down. "Not on my watch! I promise we will get you a kiss before he even gets close to you." Sky says. I smile. "Thanks for the help." I say. She nods, "No problem, now if we're going to get you a kiss you need some beauty sleep." She says. "Wait, are you insulting me?" I ask. Sky just laughs. "Go to sleep." She says, sternly. she turns off the lights and sighs, walking upstairs. I lay down on the couch and I look up at the ceiling and I feel my eyes getting heavier. I didn't think it would be possible to actually sleep.... But soon I slip into a dark sleep.

~Dream Time, Start!~
I open my eyes and I'm in an open field. I remember this place.... I run my hands through the damp grass, each drop of dew on my skin like a painful memory. In the distance I see two figures and I know exactly who they are. A girl with shoulder length black hair and a boy with blond hair walk into the field, they don't seem to see me, I know who they are.
It's me and Devin. When we were younger.

The younger me laughs as she grabs Devin's wrist and pulls him to sit down in a bed of flowers. Devin smiles slightly, his hair blocking his eyes entirely. "So, is this where you wanted to bring me?" He asks. The way we used to look at each other, It's painful to see now. The younger me nodded, her hair falling in front of her eyes, "Look!" She squeals, "I'm you!" Devin chuckled at this, "But much prettier." I feel a small tear peeking at the edge of my eye. Suddenly the surroundings begin to darken, everything turning black and white and I feel a presence behind me. "You remember us? How we were?" I turn around to see Devin. He has a small smirk dancing on his lips. "Of course..." I force myself to say. "Ah, I was so stupid for so long.... I was stupid to believe I liked you." He says, looking at the younger us. "If only they knew what we've grown up to become." Devin says, His voice dropping, to a more threatening tone. "I'm glad I had friends smart enough to tell me how stupid you were, and how easy it would be to control you." He says. I fight back tears. "You're right I was stupid then, but you can't control me now." I growl. "Oh can't I? I know you still like me.... I see it in your eyes, I sense it in your energy. I know." He says, with a smirk. I step back. "No," I say. "You're wrong." Devin tilts his head. "Oh, am I? I'll prove it." He holds out his hand. I look at his hand as if it's poison. "I'm not going to do anything. I want you to see," He says. "I want you to see what happens when we touch." I hesitate, something about this seems wrong.... something is definitely wrong. I hold out my hand slightly and our fingertips brush against each other. Almost as soon as we touch our surrounding gain color and it seems peaceful.... "See? See what we could do with immortality? Together. All it takes is one kiss, and the world is ours." I knew there was something wrong. Devin doesn't want this power for good, he wants it to destroy the world. I shake my head. "No, you aren't going to use me for your evil doing." I say. Devin's calm almost caring expression changes into a look of danger and anger. "Fine, It's your choice, just remember I always get what I want regardless. See?" Devin nods towards the scenery behind me, I turn around. In front of us are events of the past, present and what seems to maybe future.... They belong to Devin. Each of them show how he always results in getting what he wants, except for one, a blurred one that seems to be distant from us. "What about then....?" I ask pointing to it. "That's the future timeline, it only serves as a present timeline right now because somehow the course of the future continues to change, so it only shows up to now, once a clear path has been formed it will show my victory of the future." He says, laughing a little at the end. "Or your defeat, right?" I ask, turning towards him. "What?"
"You said the timeline ending is undecided, therefore it could be your defeat."
"But that's impossible"

"Why?" I ask. "My defeat can only come if my time runs out." Devin says. "Yeah and it's going to because I'm not going to kiss you." I say. "Then I can find another." He says. "No one wants to kiss someone who's so mean." I point out. Devin crosses his arms. "Have it your way, lets see your timelines." I turn back around and the majority of my events end up in me losing or not finishing something. "See, you can't do anything without someone helping you, because you're stupid and worthless!" He yells and I flinch.
"IRIS! IRIS!"
I'm awoken by Sky's voice. "God. You scared the hell out of me." She says. "Well at least now you're holy." She punches me and I laugh. "Not funny. ok maybe a little, but still!" She says. "What happened?" She asks.
"I'm not even sure anymore."
