You're So Creepy ~A Ghost Town Story~

As I talked to Alix disbelief hit me hard.... How was it that I stand talking to the guitarist of Ghost Town and that the Lead vocalist asked me to stay after the concert? I mean weird things had happened but this topped the list. and then suddenly I hear a soft toned voice, "What's up Alix?" I can almost feel Kevin's presence as he stands beside me.
I.
Can't.
Move.

The disbelief was a bit more than I could handle. "Talking to a Ghostie." Alix responds. "Oh I see you've met Iris, I hope you don't mind, I had asked her to stay behind so the band could autograph her hoodie." Kevin says. "Oh its no problem at all." My skin tingled, my breath quickens, my heart races. Alix takes a sharpie from his back pocket. I can barely move, as if their presence is paralyzing. I shiver as Alix places a hand on my shoulder, to keep the material of my hoodie from moving as he signs my hoodie. The inner fangirl wants me to attack both Kevin and Alix with hugs but the more logical side tells me to simply act cool. "T-thanks." I say quietly. "Let's go find Manny and Evan." Kevin says. I follow Kevin and Alix as they walk back to their tour bus. "Manny?! Evan?!" Alix calls out. "They should be in here...." Kevin says. Manny pops his head out of his bunk. "You rung?" He says, hanging upside down. "Dude, come autograph this Ghost's hoodie." Alix says throwing a sharpie at Manny. It hits Manny in the stomach and he falls. "Ouch!" He says, laughing, he stands up and he autographs the back of my hoodie. "Where's Evan?" Kevin asks. "Don't know.... He left earlier." Manny says. "Well I think you're forced to hang out with us until Evan gets here." Alix says. I was surprisingly OK with staying in a tour bus with three people I barely knew. Alix suggests that we make sandwiches but Manny insists on making pizza. Kevin stays neutral. "Iris? What do you suggest?" Kevin asks as we look at Alix and Manny staring at each other as if trying to get the other to back out. "What about pizza sandwiches?" Manny and Alix look at me. "Pizza?" Alix says. "And sandwiches?" Manny says. "Sounds fun!" Kevin says. He stands up but I still sit. "Aren't you going to come show us how to make these.... Pizza sandwiches?" Kevin asks as Manny and Alix walk over to the fridge. "Hmmmm sure I guess...." I say, remembering when me and my sisters made them.

I walk to the fridge and I look over Alix and Manny. "So what are we going to need?" Manny asks. "Well, you need the basics for pizza...." Manny nods,"on it." I look at Alix, "and you need the basics for sandwiches." Alix nods and both of them start rummaging through the cabinets and fridge. After a few minutes the counter is covered in ingredients. I start explaining to them how to make the sandwiches, I take bread and I smooth some tomato sauce on it and I pop it in the oven. I let it crisp before adding the other toppings and then I add the other slice of bread, I put the sandwich in the oven again and the boys start trying to make it. "Iris, can you help me out over here?" Kevin asks. I go to help Kevin and he puts tomato sauce on my nose and I laugh. "Hey!" I squeal. Manny slides the last sandwiches in the oven and suddenly a food fight breaks out, we squeal and yell as we joke around, throwing food at each other. The door opens and Evan walks in, everyone stops. "Whaaaat is this?" Evan asks. "We were just-" "who is that?" Evan asks, ignoring Manny who tries to explain. "She's a ghost who you owe an autograph." Kevin says, wiping tomato sauce off of his arms. I nod slightly. "Only if you help clean.... This up." Evan says looking around. "Of course! It is my fault anyway." I say, Evan sighs and he picks a marker up off the table and he autographs the sleeve of my hoodie. I hold back the squeal that rises in my throat. "Now.... Let's clean up." Manny says. We all grab a rag or a towl and some disinfectant and we clean up. After a while we finish and we look at the job. "Pretty good! Ok who wants to hit up Zombie burger?" Kevin asks. "You mean we made sandwiches and we aren't even going to eat them?" Manny says. Alix turns around from the oven with the pan. "We kind of can't...." The sandwiches are burnt to a crisp and Evan blows at one of them and the sandwich turns into black crumbs. "Yep, Zombie burger it is." Manny says. The Zombie burger is walking distance within the tour bus. Kevin and I fall behind the others. "That's was fun." Kevin says. "Yeah." I say. My skin has a tingling feeling. "You OK?" I nod. I remember what happened last time I felt like this....

~Flashback time, Boom!~
I stood in front of my locker, standing in front of my crush, his blond hair over his hazel eyes. "Did you want something?" He asks. "Um, yeah. Devin, can I tell you something?" He rolls his eyes, "go on." "I have been wanting to tell you that I like you." He busted out laughing, I tightened my grip on my books, he flung his hair to the side, "listen loser, I will never fall for the likes of you." He grabs me by the collar of my shirt and slams me into my locker, I gasp. "Just stop trying, go die in a hole somewhere." Devin then threw me to the side but we were a lot closer to the stirs than I had thought, Devin placed his foot on my side and smirked. He kicked me and I rolled down the side, my body aches, I cried out in pain as I sat at the bottom of the stairs, helpless.

~flashback over, Boom!~
"Iris?" I Look at Kevin. "What?" I ask. "You kind of spaced out on me." He says. "Sorry." I reply. When we get to Zombie burger I get a smoothie and we all sit down and eat or drink. After a few minutes of joking around there we notice how late it is. "You have a place we can drop you off at?" Kevin asks as we walk to his car. "Yeah." We get in and I tell him the directions to Sky's house. The ride is short. As I get out of the car Kevin stops me. "Here.... You dropped this " he hands me my phone and I smile. "Thanks." "No problem, catch ya later." He drives off and I walk in the house.
