Winter Break!

All steph and I could talk about at lunch was the party. We were still in shock. Drew really invited us to his addy.

"Omg... steph idk what to wear!"
"Don't worry girl I gotchu"
"Ok good. Cause I have no cute clothes"
"I wasn't gunna say anything but..."

She looked me up and down before looking back up at me.

"OUCH"
"I'm kidding!!"

*lunch bell rings*

I was in 6th period and the warning bell rang. Everyone was counting down with the clock...5...4...3...2...1. The bell rang and everyone went running out the school gates. It kinda reminded me of high school musical tbh. Ugh, I couldn't believe it, I might actually have a chance with drew.

I ran to meet up with Stephanie but she wasn't at our usual meeting spot. I walked all around school looking for her. After about 20 minutes of searching, I found her. She was waitting in front of the bus stop, which was odd seeing as she comes to my house after school. I ran up to her and she was crying.
"Whats wrong?" I asked
"My mom and dad just got in a car accident. My dad is fine, but they said my mom might not make it!"
I felt so bad. Everyone who knows Stephanie's knows how close her and her mother are. Inseparable almost. I cant imagine how she's feeling right now. I called drew and told him what happened. He offered us a ride a ride to the hospital. Drew drove as fast as he could, but by the time we got there it was to late. They did everything they could but nothing worked. Her mom was gone. She went sprinting out of the hospital.
"STEPH-"
"Don't cath, let her have some time to herself. She just lost her mom." Drew said sympathetically.
I just hugged him. I can't believe she's really gone.
