Today is just like any other day. Gotta get my ass out of bed and too school or else I'm gunna get another truency letter and I don't feel like getting reprimanded for the 293478 time.
"Alright ma I'm leaving. I'll see you after school."
"Ok sweetie I love you. Have a great last day. Don't do anything stupid."
I swear she always says that and it's getting old. But she is right about one thing. Today's my last day!! Well... before winter break. But that's fine cause it's 3 weeks away from school and all the bullshit that comes with it.

As soon as I reached the gates of Linkin Park High, I saw the most beautiful and glowing thing I think I'd ever seen. It was drew. Drew Ramos. The 'IT' guy of my school. Everyone knew who he was and he was literally friends with everyone. Well everyone except me. I'm kind of a science geek so I can see why he might not gear towards my friend group. But I'm determined to change that today. I'm no longer going to sit in the back of the class, I'm going to dress nicer, actually do my hair in the mornings, maybe even try out for a sport if I'm feeling frisky. So I'm just gunna walk right up to him and say...
"Oh hey cathrine. How've you been?"
I couldn't breathe. Drew really knows my name. And cares about how I'm doing. Wow!
"I'm doing good"
"That's good. Got any plans later tonight"
"No why?"
"I'm throwing a party and I was wondering if you would like to come..."
Right as he was asking, Stephanie came running up.
"HEY BITCH"
"...she can come too."
I was so embarrassed
"Yea for sure I'll be there"
"Alright, see you around"
Did that really just happen. I'm going to combust. What EVEN!!!
