"I feel like I'm being setup." I closed my locker pouting to Madey. "Why does liking someone have to complicate life?!"
"Well maybe if you started dating him when you first started liking him, you wouldn't be going through this Aria."
"It would be worse! If his parents are moving away he probably would have left with them and I'd be a sad puppy."
"Like right now?"
I blew out a frustration breath knowing that I'll never win.
"Why are we breathing loudly?" Carter wrap one arm around my shoulder. I just glared at him. "Okaaaay." He removed it and brushed my shoulders. Although deep in my heart I wanted his arm to stay there.
"Aria isn't in a great mood today Jacket." Madey answered for us. If I say something it might be rude.
"Oh, well maybe I can help with that. I came to ask what are you gals doing this weekend?"
"Nothing so far why?"
"Let's see a movie,Go to a concert, eat pizza, or something. Anything."
"We'll get back to you on that later Carter." I grabbed Madey's arm and dragged her into class leaving Carter throwing his hand up saying okay.
Finally the last class of the day. ART. Nobody knows how excited I am about art, except my parents. I wanted to tell Madey but in class she doesn't take it as serious as I do. It's my little big secret. My teacher Mrs. Davis, Lilly is what we call her, know my talent and know I don't show my full potential in class. Although I want to its kind of a cool mysterious secret.
"So are we going out with Carter this weekend?" Madey asked just smearing paint on the canvas.
"Why spend time with him, like him more, and be crushed all over again?" My painting is more detailed today than any day.
"Oooo I like your painting, you really learned this semester."
"I guess so. Thanks."
"Sure. Any way back to this weekend. You're always in the house on the weekend, It's senior year, let's enjoy it pleaseeee!!" Although I'm not always in the house on the weekend, it would be fun to go out.
"Only if we go bowling." A smile slowly creeped it's way into my face.
"Deal!" We agreed. "Your first date! This is going to be fun!!"
"Who said something about a date? This is just a group of friends having fun."
"Whatever you say." She smirked continuing her smearing masterpiece.

I'm home all alone on a Friday night. Great. I wonder what Carter is doing. Woah wait.... Did I just.... Oh no. Having a crush is no joke!
Instead of sobbing for no reason about a crush I just decided to watch one direction videos. Turns out they're not that bad. In Fact, I just fell in love with Niall Horan. *heart eyes*

"Madey did you really change your ringtone again?" I said answering the phone.
