Lucy awoke from her slumber when a ringing shot through her ears. Her pink alarm clock started off for the second time. The first time Lucy hit snooze and tried to go back to sleep for another 5 minutes, but she couldn't. It was the first day of high school for the blonde and she wasn't sure whether to be happy or nervous. The two junior high schools in the area were merging so it was a great opportunity to make new friends. But if she missed her chance, she would be basically alone for the rest of high school. Lucy already had some friends, yes, but she only had one good one. Everyone always says that one friend is better than none, but it always made her feel lonely anyway. Levy was Lucy's best friend. She had short blue hair and was incredibly smart. They met back in the 6th grade, and Levy was a transfer student so she needed someone to take her under their wing. Lucy, I guess, was that person.
The blonde got up from her bed and changed into the school uniform she was given a couple of weeks before in the mail. It consisted of a white top with a salmon pink colar. There was a cherry pink lace of fabric going through the color and tied into a small bow. The sleeves were long, and the cuffs were the same pink as the colar. Lucy wasn't completely comfortable with the skirt, seeing that it was a little shorter then her standards, so she also put on some white leggings.

The high school was bigger than she expected. Lucy had driven past it a few times, but it was much larger up close. There were cherry blossom trees everywhere. It kinda reminded her of something. Lucy tried to remember, but she guessed it was a stupid memory that didn't really matter. At the same time the school bell rang. Walking inside, she pulled out a slip of paper from her pocket. It had a list all of her classes and the times of them. The blonde started walking towards her class. A giant smile on her face, she closed her eyes and took it all in. She wondered if her mother would be proud of her.

Lucy's first class went by like a breeze. She wouldn't really consider it a class, just a room where you get everything ready for second hour.
On her way to English, she saw this poor brunette getting hit on by this guy named Loke. People started calling him Lio, because of how his hair sticks up like a lions main. Lucy and him were actually dating a few years back, but that lasted a whole 2 days. The blonde walked quickly past them so she could avoid the attention. Arriving at room 1-A, she stood near an empty desk, and waited for the bell to ring. Her eyes drifted around the room, looking for anyone who she knew. There was a girl with blue hair, she seemed to be looking deeply into the raven hair of the boy in front of her. She didn't recognize either of them, so they must have been from the other school. Lucy was unfamiliar with most of the students in the class room. She jumped when two petite hands grabbed onto her shoulders. Lucy recognized her.

"Levy! You scared me," she said. Levy laughed.

"Sorry Lucy, it just feels like I haven't seen you in forever!"
It was true, they hadn't really spoken to each other much over the summer.

"It has been I while." Lucy smiled.

"Hey," Levy whispered, "Did you noticed that girl," she said pointing to the blue haired girl Lucy noticed earlier. She was still looking intently at the back of the boys head.

"Yea, what is she doing...?" Lucy whispered back.

"I hear her name is Juvia Lockser, she practically stalks that boy."

"I feel bad for him."

Levy nodded. When the bell rang, they both took their seats. Levy sat right next to her. Then the teacher walked in. He started attendance,
"Alzack," He said. And then a man from across the room replied with a,

"Here."

"Bisca,"

"Here."

"Cana,"

"Here."

All of these names were unfamiliar.

"Lucy,"
She was caught by surprise, "Here."

Lucy stopped listening to the names...

"Levy,"

"Here."

But then there was a name...

"Max,"

"Here."

That caught her attention.

"Natsu,"

It was silent. Lucy looked up. She knew that name. But from where...? The classroom doors flew open and in came a man with pink hair. He was wearing the classic white suit of the school uniform, but he had a white scarf.
"That isn't a part of the school uniform," Lucy thought. She watched the way it twirled when he ran to the last open seat, across from her.
The teacher repeated, "Natsu Dragneel."
Wait...Dragneel? She was certain she knew who it was.

"Here," the pinkette said.

That voice. The memory flooded back into Lucy's head. Emotionless, she whispered under her breath,

"It's you..."

Lucy and Natsu are finally I the same room again! It's been almost 6 years since they last saw each other. How is Lucy going to react? Will she still feel the same hatred towards Natsu that she felt so many years ago?? Find out in the next chapter ~
