Nightmare
Chapter Eight
Bree didn't know what to think, and neither did Alice. In a moment Alice just disappeared. So Bree was now alone.
"It's dangerous." That voice came back into Bree's mind. That voice has haunted her for years. Of course she'd never tell anybody. Bree had always been too scared to tell. That voice made her that way. She then saw a figure next to her. That voice belonged to the figure. "You're too much of a wimp to tell anybody about our talks." He now walked back and forth infront of her.
"Shut up." Bree whispered. He then laughed.
"You really think I'll do that?" He was behind her on the bed, whispering in her ear." Look, Bree, I'm only here to help you."
"Help me? All you've done is scare me to death."
"I helped you get out of that hell hole that was your home, I also helped you get to where you are now." He was telling the truth after all. Bree couldn't stand the truth.
"Why make me hate you, then?" She asked. She really wondered why.
"I can't have you loving me, can I?"
"You're so confusing." Bree shook her head and left the room. He followed her.
"You can't run from me."
"Then can I just die?" Bree sighed, walking down the steps of the rather long stairs.
Adrian looked out of the window from his attic. He loved looking out of it. He could see so much. Something was on Adrian's mind. Something most wouldn't expect. He then jumped a little bit as he saw a pale hand grip onto the window frame. Then the hand's partner. Hailey jumped into the window and landed on her feet on the creaky floor as Adrian stood back.
"What's up?" Hailey asked, seeming actually happy.
"Nothing. What about you, Hay?" He teased her with the nickname he gave her a long time ago.
"Same here, Adrianna." Hailey teased back with something they would call 'your girl name.'
"I actually like the name Adrianna. I might as well just name my kid that." Adrian laughed.
"What if your child was to be a boy?"
"Enrique!" Adrian tried to bring out his fake Spanish accent. It sucks entirely.
"My ex's name is Enrique." Hailey said randomly.
"Too much information." Adrian looked down, smiling.
"Oh, yeah. A big boy like you could never handle knowing about your friend's ex's!"
"Shut up." He laughed once again. He heard somebody coming up the steps and into the attic. It was the witch.
"Shut up!" The witch screamed. It pierced our eardrums.
"Damn!" Hailey yelled as she held her ear in pain.
"Get out! You Monster! You too!" The witch started to cry. Hailey looked at Adrian.
"Still the same, I see." Hailey sighed.
"Sadly, yes." Adrian got up and went up to the witch.
"Get away from me!" The witch pushed Adrian back. Adrian then pushed the witch.
"You should get away from me." Adrian closed his eyes and walked to the window. He couldn't deal with that witch anymore. So he just jumped out. His feet went onto the ledge and he fell forward. He landed onto his feet. Hailey did the same. They walked away from the home, willingly. Of course they didn't look back at all. It didn't hit Adrian that Bree wasn't there. He swore to himself he'd protect her from everything. Who knew what the witch could do to Bree out of hate for Adrian? What if the witch really didn't hate Adrian?
Adrian felt Hailey grip his hand.
"We have nowhere to go, you know." She said to him.
"I can't go back there, can I?" He looked back, just to confirm that the house wasn't in view anymore.
"I guess not." Hailey looked back with him. Then they walked further and further away.

This is what people would call a 'cliff hanger.' I tend to leave you with these a lot. :P I hoped you liked this chapter.
