HOLYYYY FFRRIIICKINNN GEORGE LOPEZ. NINTH CHAPTER. :D
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The lights flickered as they walked beside each other down the eerie sidewalk. It was almost two A.M at the moment and niether felt tired. Hailey then tightened her grip on Adrian's hand and pulled him into an alley. She made him sit down with her against the brick wall.
"I wanted to talk to you." Hailey said softly, in almost a whisper.
"About what?" Adrian was pretty confused when girls said that to him. He felt as if he was always in trouble.
"About what happened the day I became one of them." She looked straight into my eyes. I felt like my soul was being watched almost every minute as she did. If I were to slip up in my thoughts, I knew she'd notice.
"Go on." He told her. He was quite curious about that.
"I was walking home from my friend's work. All the sudden a huge truck out of nowhere hits me. I run into a near-by alley and it happens." Why did it always happen in alleys?
"That was pretty quick, I guess." He laughed a bit. She only smiled.
Bree was unstable. She couldn't handle this. She sighed and looked behind her, to see him in her face. She tried to hold back from screaming in fear. He obviously didn't know anything about personal space. Then it happened. Like lightning, almost. His lips crushed into hers and he invaded her mouth. She pushed him away, and noticed something. He was real. Her eyes widened. All this time she thought he was just a ghost or something.
"I don't even know your name." She stated softly.
"Marcelo Canada." He then disappeared, smiling in his own creepy way. Bree just walked the feelings she was experiencing that moment.
Adrian felt like the time just flashed. He hated when that happened. He normally forgot an important piece of information that was just given to him or an important action. Of course, all he could see was Hailey just blushed.
"Sorry, did you say anything?" She frowned as he said it.
"No, I'm sorry." She put of a fake smile and left. Adrian wished he had never spaced. Now he was told something he'd probably never be told again.
Bree sat on her bed, scared to death. How could he be real, yet dissapear? Then again, it was sort of believable that a creature out there existed, because vampires existed. She found herself walking down the steps of the stairs. Marcelo behind her. She turned around. Marcelo forcefully kissed her once again. Bree pushed him away violently again. She screamed when she pushed him. Adrian heard this terrifying scream and came down from his room. Suddenly Marcelo vanished.
"Are you okay?" Adrian asked, hugging Bree.
"H-he.." Bree tried to say it, but she just couldn't.
"You should get some sleep." Adrian said coldly all the sudden.
"But.. " She sighed. She knew he wouldnt beileve her. She looked down and then looked at him in the eyes. She ran to her room and slammed the door she couldnt beileve that he didnt believe her.
Adrian rolled his eyes, walking downstairs. He went into the kitchen and grabbed the box of beer. The next thing he knew Alice was infront of him.
Alice was in the shadows in the kitchen. She came out once she was Adrian grab the box of beer.
"You need to be careful with her adrian. You need to trust her" Alice commanded.
"Careful with her? Trust her? I do both." Adrian shook his head as he drank a can of beer he pulled out of the box.
Alice sighed "She's telling the truth about the guy."
"What guy?" Adrian glared at Alice.
"She's been haunted by this guy. She's told me this."
"All she did was try to talk and then she just cried for no reason. You really think I'd be able to do something about that?" Adrian shook his head as he looked away from Alice. He look another sip of his beer can and went up the stairs. Alice would let his actions slide this time.
Bree sat on her bed. Her bed was pretty confortable as always. She chewed on her bottom lip. Blood started to come out of a new cut she had just made from her chewing. The taste of metal filled her mouth. She fell asleep moments after that.
Bree felt something tugging on her leg.. She saw the guy at the end of her bed. She rubbed her eyes fighting back the tugging. When she won, she sat up and looked at him.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Yeah. I had a dream that i was getting kidnapped.. " She looked away from the guy.
"What happened to you when you tried to force a kiss?" She raised her eyebrow.
"Nothing." He looked away from her, as well. Bree's eyes were fixed at him when he said that. She then sat on his lap. She forced him to look at her with her hands on his face. She had each of her legs on the outside of his.
"Hey. Dont be upset. " she smiled.
"I'm not." He smiled at her. "I'm just sorry I've scared you all of these years." Bree didnt know what she was doing, but she placed her lips on his, closing her eyes. He carefully invaded her mouth with his tongue, exploring, deepening the kiss. As she felt the kiss deepen, she slowy leaned forward making him lay down on her bed. He put her arms around her waist as she did so. Marcelo quickly pulled away. He pushed her up, making sure she wouldn't kiss him again.
"Stop." He whispered, then just dissappeared.
