"Take a seat, Thomas," Teddy motioned to a chair in front of his desk.

Tommy complied while straightening his coat so he would not sit on the end of it.

"I like it better this way." Teddy began.

"What way?" Tommy asked.

"I'm over here," Teddy pointed to himself, behind the desk, "and you're over there. It suits you better." He finished.

"Look, I didn't come here to chat so sit down and stop with the fucking jokes," Tommy said.

"Alright then, straight to business," Teddy said, removing his coat and draping it over his chair. "Let's get to it," he sat and folded his hands atop his desk.

Toni knocked on the door before her. She was not sure but she guessed that the bar area was behind it.

"Hello?" She called.

Immediately, someone opened the door.

He was a very tall, handsome, and sturdy black man and he was smiling down at her.

"Why hello there," he said before flirtatiously kissing her hand, "please tell me, you're Toni."

"Well, I-I'm," Toni was shocked, "I certainly am. And you are?" She asked.

"I'm Roscoe. It's nice to meet you."

"What business do you want to talk about?" Teddy asked, sarcastically.

Tommy removed his cigarette and put it out before returning to a relaxed position.

"Cut the bullshit." He said. "I know what you did."

Teddy froze. All his sarcasm disappeared, making way for a deep loathing.

"You don't know anything," he said through bared teeth.

"I know you told Glasgow we were coming. I know you've been leaking information. I know you've been working with him for months now. And I know you're a coward for working with the man that tried to murder your own family," Tommy finished.

Tommy looked at him, waiting for whatever bullshit was about to come out of his mouth.

Teddy sighed, "You don't know anything about who I am and what I do. As long as Glasgow and I have this... understanding he agrees to let Toni alone. I did what I did to protect her!" He shouted.

"She's your fucking niece." Tommy exclaimed. "How could you work with him. You know how much pain he caused her. How could you do this to her?"

Teddy answered so lowly that it was a growl. "Because, I want you dead. I would rather work with Glasgow than a devil like you."

"I am the father of Toni's child. She needs me." Tommy said.

"She was fine without you before; her and her baby will be fine without you now. She does not need you. I raised her to be stronger than that."

"You didn't fucking raise her." Tommy was incredulous at this man's boldness.

"Don't talk to me like you know more about my family than I do. I raised her and I'll decide how to protect her." Teddy said.
