Truth or Dare

Chapter 10

Lucas P.O.V

When I walked into the living room I seen Josh sitting on the couch I was trying my best not to punch him in his face after what he did to Maya.

Lucas: Hey Josh.
Josh: Hey.. Uh, oh yeah Howdy.
Lucas: It's Lucas.
Josh: Oh yeah, When did you get here?
Lucas: I'm always here.
Josh: Oh, Ok?
Lucas: Yeah.

I finally sat down and started to watch the movie when I noticed Maya still wasn't in here, I went back to her room then I found her on the fire escape drawing. I ended up just watching her while she drew the sky getting lost in all the details.

Maya: So Ranger Rick you just gonna sit there and watch.
Lucas: No, my bad I just wanted to see if you were ok.
Maya: I'm always ok.
Lucas: Is Josh what you were thinking about earlier?
Maya: yeah half way.
Lucas: I hope you know you can talk to me about these things.
Maya: I can't if you are included in these things.
Lucas: How?
Maya: You're such a huckleberry.
Lucas: So you wanna go actually watch the movie now?
Maya: Yeah sure.
Josh: Hey what are you guys doing out there?
Maya: Nothing we about to go back in the living room.
Josh: Oh what's out there though.
Maya: Nothing just my fire escape.

Maya and Lucas climb back in the room. Lucas walks in the living room while Maya was about to put away her drawing.

Josh: Wow did you just draw that.
Maya: Yeah.
Josh: That's really good.
Maya: Thanks.

Josh took the drawing for Maya and put it on the window then looked out he was really impressed by how she really got every detail.

Josh: My gosh this is really good how come you don't get your art displayed?
Maya: Because my art work is not for other people to see.
Josh: It should be it's really good.
Maya: Thanks Josh.
Josh: You're welcome. When did howdy get here and what is he doing here I thought him and Riley had a thing?
Maya: Yeah they use to but they decided to be friends and he was just checking up on me to see if I made it home safe.
Josh: Oh that's nice. So are y'all two like a thing now?
Maya: Lets go get finished watching movie.
Josh: Yeah ok.

After the Movie goes off and they are all just sitting there in awkard silence.

Josh: So do you guys wanna play a game.
Lucas: Depends, What is the game?
Josh: I don't know Maya you got any games in mind.
Maya: No not really.
Josh: How about truth or dare?

Maya and Lucas looked at each other and laughed then Maya said sure. They were playing for about 30 minutes.

Josh: Truth or Dare Lucas?
Lucas: Truth.
Josh: Why did you and Riley break up?
Lucas: Because it wasn't working I didn't really like her in that way.

Josh just nodded. Lucas got mad by the question.

Lucas: Josh truth or dare?
Josh: Truth.
Lucas: Why did you leave Maya without saying goodbye or even writing her a letter through out the time you were gone.
Maya: I think that's enough games for tonight.
Lucas: No let him answer the question that's how the game goes right.
Josh: Yeah it is, I didn't write Maya because I didn't know what to say to her because I was holding back all these...
Lucas: All these what?
Josh: Nothing it doesn't matter now but I didn't say goodbye because I don't like saying goodbye when I leave because I planned on seeing her again. So are we done with this game now?
Maya: .... Yeah.
Josh: What time is it?
Maya: 7:42
Josh: So what do y'all wanna do now?
Maya: I'm pretty hungry y'all wanna order some pizza.
Lucas: Yeah.
Maya: Lucas how are you getting home?
Lucas: Walking.
Josh: You can get a ride with me.
Lucas: Ok.
Maya: Do y'all wanna watch another movie until pizza get here?
Lucas: Yeah the Wolf of Wall Street.
Maya: ard put it in.

Josh: Pizza here!
Maya: Ok who's paying I'm broke.
Lucas: I got it.
Josh: nah it's fine I got it.
Maya: Can someone just pay the guy before he leaves.

Josh walks over to the door and open it and it's Cory.

Cory: Come on time to go.
Josh: Lucas is riding too.
Cory: Lucas? Lucas what are doing here.
Lucas: I was just making sure Maya got home safe.
Cory: Oh well lets go.
Maya: Someone got to leave me some money here for the pizza guy when he comes.

Pizza guy walk up behind Cory.

Pizza guy: That will be 10.64.

Josh hand the guy the money then hugs Maya goodbye.

Lucas: Bye Maya.
Maya: Bye.

They were all getting in the car when Maya ran out with a bag and the pizza box and hoped in the car.

Maya: Matthews I'm spending the night.
Cory: Ok.

The whole car ride was awkard nobody talked but Maya was in the back eating Pizza with Lucas.

They finally reached Lucas house Maya gave Lucas a hug then watched him leave.

When they got to the house it was 9 pm

Maya: Thanks Cory.
Cory: No problem.

Maya ran to Riley room and found her in there crying in the Bay Window.
