Chapter 27

Sammie ( P.O.V )

Before I went home I stopped at the gas station to get me a Brisk. I swear they be the best juice.

On my way to the cash register I heard somebody say my name in a questioning way.

I turned around and seen a lil boy about the age of 10 standing with a lady in her early 20's.

" Yes, it's me " I said smiling at the little boy.

" Can I get your autograph, I'm a big fan of yours, and I wanna be just like you " he said holding out his arm.

I love doing my job, hearing people say they wanna be like me. This is what I enjoy. I wouldn't trade my job for anything.

" Yeah lil man " I said smiling " what's your name ? " I asked looking at him.

" Joshua " he said nodding and smiling.

I chuckled and then signed 'Sammie B, keep your head high, go for your dreams'.

" Thanks " he said smiling at me while I started walking away.

" Sammie " Joshua said walking to me as I put my stuff on the counter.

" Wassup lil man ? " I asked leaning against the counter.

He looked at me like he was nervous to say something " I umm, I want to go to the. Well I want you to hear me sing " he said.

I sighed, " how about this " I said looking at him. " I'll come pick you up from your house tomorrow, and if I like what I hear... then I'll bring you to the studio with me and I'll take you shopping. Kind of like a guys day out "I said smiling.

His face lit up with excitement " REALLY ? YOU'LL DO THAT ? " he said excited.

I nodded my head.

He gave me his number and I was out the store.

When I pulled up to my house, I had put the code in for the gate to open. While pulling into my driveway, I seen a car I didn't recognize.

I walked in the house, and the first person I saw was Adri " Hey baby " I said kissing her cheek looking around.

" Hey, we have company " she said walking to the living room, I followed behind her .

I walked in the living room and seen a guy sitting on my sofa. I didn't think much of it.

" Babe, this my brother Marquis, Quis this my boyfriend Sammie " Adrianna said introducing us as we shook hands.

Then this pregnant female had walked in going up to Marquis. She looked real familiar.

" And this is my sister in law, even though my brother didn't put a ring on it yet " Dri said laughing, I just nodded my head . I didn't mean to be rude about it.

Me and the girl stared at each other for a good minute until I broke the silence " I'll be back babe, lemme go get situated. I said kissing her soft lips.

Adrianna ( P.O.V )

I don't know why, but things started to feel awkward.

I led my brother and Arielle to my theater room so we could watch Tyler Perry's 'Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor' . I swear his movies be so deep.

Sammie still haven't came down yet.

" Where's the closest bathroom ? Arielle asked getting up .

" Go out of this room, make a right, make another right, then make a left and it's down the hall " I said smiling.

" Damn " she said laughing. " Oh, and can you check on Sammie for me ? " I asked her. She nodded her head yeah.

Arielle ( P.O.V )

I really did have to pee, my bladder is just crazy now. I can't hold it in for shit.

I rushed to the bathroom and sat on the toilet just in time.

After I finished , I washed my hands and looked at myself in the mirror. I can't wait until I have my baby, cause he have me looking a lil chunky.

I came out the bathroom. I did not wanna face Sammie to tell him what Adri said, but o'well.

I went to their bedroom door and knocked. He came up to the door with basketball shorts on.

" Umm... uh Dri wants you " I said nervous.

I was walking away until he grabbed me by my wrist pulling me into his bedroom.

" Why you acting like you don't know a nigga ? " he asked.

I snatched my arm away from him " Because, I don't know who you are anymore " . I replied.

" What did I do to you to make you hate me so much ? " he asked sitting on the bed.

I rolled my eyes at him and folded my arms " you really want me to tell you ! " I somewhat yelled.

" Tell me " he simply said .

" Sammie, you left us after you made it famous, you told me that you promised to come back and get me. But you never did . You was so caught up in your fame that you forgot... " I said now crying.

" It wasn't like that. You knew how mom was on drugs, and she couldn't even afford to take care of us. Ari, I used my talent so that me, you, and lyric wouldn't have to suffer or hurt anymore. Singing is what made me successful, it's what I like to do. You remember when you checked the mail one day, and it was 30 million dollars in there with a note that was for you. I sent that to you so you could get away and start your life. I never meant to leave you intentionally. " he said with tears coming down his face. By this time, both of us was crying.

Yes, Sammie is my brother. We had a really tight bond, and now that we're back together, our bond will be unbreakable.

We embraced in a hug.

" You better get your punk ass to my girl " I said laughing.

He smacked his lips smiling while walking out.

Sammie properly introduced himself to us, we played games , watched movies, and ate like one big happy family.

We stayed at Dri house until it was dark out.

When me and Quis' headed home, I noticed he wasn't talking to me.
