Chapter 14

Vontae' ( P.O.V )

When she asked me that question, in all honesty I didn't even know what we we're , so I went with the best thing possible .

" We're just friends " I said looking at her . She had a face expression full of disappointment and she didn't say anything for the rest of the ride .

I pulled into the driveway and we both got out of the car . Her brother and mom wasn't there , so I went up to her room to talk to her .

" Dri , did I hurt your feelings by what I said ? " I asked her sitting on the bed .

" Yes, I thought at least we we're boyfriend and girlfriend , I mean we've been friends for four years, why else would you move here with me, have sex with me, and flirt , i'm not just your friend with benefit , I have REAL feelings for you " she said crying .

At that time I felt bad for treating her the way I did for the last few days, I just had something going on that I never told her .

" I understand that, I have feelings for you too babygirl , it's just that i'm tired of females doing me wrong , I try to be a real nigga to them , but they just step all over me that explains why I been acting the way I been, I dont want you to step all over me and in the end cheat . I love you girl " I said shedding a lil tear .

She leaned on my shoulder wiping my tear and hugging me tight . " Vontae' promise me something " she said looking at me with them pretty ass eyes . " What ? " I asked . " Promise me you won't leave me or talk to me the way you have been . " she said . I smiled at her . " I promise " I said kissing her lips passionately .

" Vontae' can I ask you something ? " she said raising up .

" Wazzam ? " I said .

" How come you never talked about your parents around me or how come you always so tough ? " she asked .

It brought me back and I started telling her . I had to be completely honest .

" I was 10 years old and I walked into the house late from hanging with my boys , I heard my mom and dad arguing , I didn't think much of it because it was their usual thing they did everynight . I went in the room and seen my little brother... he was hidding in the corner of the room crying , I walked up to him and told him everything was gonna be okay... I heard my mom scream... I never heard that scream before ... I walked by the kitchen door to see him with his hands around her neck ( crying ) I tried to tell him to stop but he didn't , my little brother walked up behind me screaming and crying " leave my mommy alone " he continued . My dad dropped my mom to the floor and she was holding her throat telling me and my brother " go in the room and lock your doors " my brother ran in the room but I just shook my head no . He...punched...her in her face making her bleed . M-my brother came out with a gun . I tried to take it from him, my dad started coming towards us and I-I-I sh-shot him . "

" I killed my dad , I swear I didnt mean to... I was just trying to protect my mom and my brother went to jail because of me , he's not suppose to be in there. I am . I just want him back , I only wanted to scare him " by this time I was bawling my eyes out while Adrianna comforted me .

" I'm so sorry, your mom knows you didn't mean to , she still loves you " she said hugging me tight while wipping my tears . I swear I will never be abusive to a woman the way my dad was to my mom .

Marquis ( P.O.V )

I had some business to handle, I heard from a source that Niki came to my house , why the fuck wouldn't my sister tell me this ? She know how much I hate Niki . I went to the trap house where my boys was . I pulled up to the house got out and walked in .

" Wazzam wodie " I said dapping up my dawg Geno .

" Wassup " he said walking to the table where the other guys was . Geno been my boy since we was in elementary .

I sat down at the table with all of them . " Man y'all know that hoe Niki came to my house talm bout some dude trynna kill her " I said , they all looked at me with a " say whaat " face .

" Man no huh ? What you gone do about it ? " Damien asked .

" Imma let it ride out for a lil and see what happens cause I can't be having that with my new girl Arielle "

They all looked at me laughing . " Man you ain't tell her what you do " Geno asked . " Nahh, I don't want her to know . She already know I just got outta jail a month ago " I said shaking my head . I got up from the table . " I'll catch y'all lata' " I said walking out the door .

On my way going to Arielle place I texted her .

Adrianna ( P.O.V ) 

After I woke up from my nap Vontae' was still sleep . I felt so bad for him, like I had no idea that he was hiding and dealing with that . I felt bad afterwards because after he told me he couldn't stop crying . I haven't talked to my girl Brinae in lawd knows how long so I texted her .

Me : Hey my lovee !!!!! Imy girl .

My BuggaBoo :) : Look who finally decided to text a sista lol .

Me : Lol , don't be on that !

My BuggaBoo :) : I miss you too love !! Why haven't you told me that fine boy Vontae' moved in with y'all OMG, have y'all had sex yet ?

Me : Lmaoo, I forgot to tell you girl ,it caught me by surprise . But yes we had sex and girl he's soooooooo good . Ctfu 

My BuggaBoo :) : I guess , look how fine he is ;) , girlll you better keep that one lol . But imma text ya lata, my bae waiting for me :) ;) lol .

Me : Lol, bye girl . I got sumn for you but i'll tell ya lata .

I was walking in the hallway to go to the kitchen , I stopped by my mom door to hear something . I opened the door and my mouth dropped  that's one thing I regret doing ...
