Ch.2 Promise

Later that day, Riley and Lucas entered the pool at the community center in their swim suites.

"Well this is nice" Lucas commented as he looked around the pool "And that is one big slide".

"Well I'm going in" Riley said as she set her bag down and went to the edge of the pool.

"Are you gonna jump in?" Lucas asked.

"Nah I prefer to go in slowly" she said as she started to go into the water as a chill went down her spine "Damn it's cold" she shivered.

"Well move around" Lucas advised "You'll get warmer".

Riley then started to swim around.

"Oh this feels really nice" she smiled as she relaxed.

Lucas the gave a sneaky smile as he took a few steps back. He then ran and jumped into the pool splashing the water onto Riley. He stood up and gave a laugh.

"Hey I was trying to enjoy my relaxing" Riley said with disappointment.

"Well you can enjoy it with me" Lucas gave a flirty smile as he wrapped his arms around her.

"I suppose I can" she smiled as they started to kiss.

Soon after have fun at the pool, Riley and Lucas went back home. And while Riley went home, Lucas went to 'Topanga's' where he ordered a smoothie just as Farkle came in.

"Hey" he said as he went up to Lucas.

"Oh hey Farkle" Lucas said.

"So how was the cowboy museum?"

"Oh it was great" Lucas smiled, hiding his sneaky face of what really happened.

"So what did you see?"

"Oh just, cowboy stuff, I also saw Donald Trump waiting for an elevator".

"Interesting" Farkle nodded with interest "Oh by the way" he said with a sneaky smile "That hotel we stayed at in London called today, they said that someone left an eyelash curler in our room".

"Uh" Lucas said as he tried to think of an excuse "I guess that was mine".

"Because I figured you hooked up with some girl when I was gone and she left it there".

"Yes that would've made more sense".

"You know, I feel like I don't even know you anymore man. Ok look, I'm gonna ask you this one time, and whatever you say I'll believe you. Were you, or were you not, on a gay cruise?"

Lucas gave him a dumbfound look feeling a bit offended.

Riley laid on her bed with her laptop on her lap when she heard a knocking at her bay window, she turned and saw Lucas. She got up and let him in.

"Hey" they smiled as she sat at the bay window.

"Hey I just wanted to say that I had a really great time with you today" Lucas smiled.

"Aw me too" Riley smiled.

"And I really wanna do it again someday".

"Me too, but, how long are we gonna keep this relationship a secret?"

Lucas gave a sigh.

"I don't know" he said "I mean, Farkle kinda got suspicious today, but I made up an excuse".

"Oh man, I'm afraid he's gonna find out first".

"Well, I don't know what else to do".

"Well we could just ignore him".

"That what I was thinking".

"Well all right then" Riley smiled.

The couple both smiled as Riley laid her head on Lucas's shoulder.

Later that day, everyone had gathered in Riley's living room as Maya entered.

"Hey" she said.

"Hey Maya" Riley smiled as she started to look through her purse.

"So Riley" Maya said as she walked towards her "I heard you saw Donald Trump at the science museum".

"Yeah" Riley smiled "I saw him waiting for an elevator".

Farkle gave a confused look.

"Oh Maya can I borrow your eyelash curler I think I lost mine" Riley asked Maya as Farkle's eyes widen.

"Yeah it's in my bag" Maya said.

Farkle was full of shock as he pointed Riley with his jaws dropped. Lucas tried to hold his guilty face as Farkle pointed to him then at Riley.

"Oh!" Farkle gasped with shock.

"Farkle can I talk to you for a second?" Lucas asked.

"Oh!" Farkle gasped as he pointed to Lucas.

"Farkle" Lucas grabbed his arm and pulled him off the couch as Farkle continued to point at him and Riley with shock.

Lucas pulled Farkle towards Riley's room as Riley followed. In the living room, Zay, Josh, and Maya looked at each other with confused looks. Farkle started to freak out as Lucas pulled him onto Riley's bed and put his hand over his mouth to keep him from shouting.

"Farkle!" Lucas said as he slowly pulled his hand away "Yes".

Farkle gave a gasp as they stood up on the bed.

"Yes" Lucas repeated.

"You?" Farkle gasped pointing to Lucas "And you?" he pointed to Riley.

"Yes" Riley confessed "But you can't tell anyone no one knows".

"How? When?" Farkle asked surprised.

"It happened in London" Lucas said.

"In London?!" Farkle gasped as Riley and Lucas shushed him.

"The reason we didn't tell anyone is because we didn't want to make a big deal about it" Lucas explained.

"But it is a big deal" Farkle said "I have to tell someone" he got up and headed towards the door.

"No no no!" Riley and Lucas grabbed him and put him on the bed.

"You can't" Lucas said.

"Please we just want to deal with telling everyone" Riley begged "Just promise you wont tell".

Farkle started to panic as he looked at both of them, they were both begging with their eyes as he then gave a sigh.

"All right" he moaned.

"Thank you" Riley and Lucas sighed in relief.

"Man this is unbelievable" Farkle said "I mean it's great!"

Riley and Lucas smiled at each other.

"I know it is great" Riley smiled as she walked up to Lucas and they wrapped their arms around each other and started to kiss.

"Oh come on I don't wanna see that" Farkle groaned.
